Brooke, her team, and her front office staff are amazing. Always responsive and always there to provide solid advice in what is otherwise a very difficult and emotional time during anyone's life. I think Brooke is a smart lawyer with too much on her plate. My case was pushed aside due to these reasons. I was promised that ONLY Brooke would deal with my in person court hearings but she was too busy and sent another lawyer in her firm who stated he wasnt fond of being in court hearings/trials. At the time they lost a lawyer, Ginger, in their firm and gave me no heads up about the difficulties the firm was facing. With her absence in my court case, my daughters saftey was jepordized against a predator. Brooke and her partner Ewert confused witness names which got the witness thrown out. They copy and pasted material from an old court case as new material and charged me for it. Which the defense even commented on "why is this material the same as the old case materials" I HAD to get new counsel because they had damaged my case enough and extremely broke my trust. They shattered my confidence in lawyers and the law which has not only caused my case issues but they shattered my mental health in believing I could keep my child safe, which was completely untrue. I just could not keep my child safe with their firm. I believe Brooke could be a great lawyer if she limited her cases, paid more attention to her clients, and had more compassion in order to be passionate about her cases. I do not trust this firm, after they did not prepare enough for a case that was basically an open and shut case protecting a child from a predator.

I hired Desiree to help assist me during mediation with my ex husband regarding custody of our daughter. She was not only kind and comfortable during a stressful and painful life event but her guidance and quick thinking helped me be successful in meditation.

Run, Protect your family and run away from Brooke Alexander. Due to Brooke's severe lack of representation and due diligence including not filing professional disclosures/releases and not following through on motions requested directly from the dudge, my children's mental health professionals were not allowed to testify, in fact only 1 out of 7 witnesses were allowed to testify the rest denied by the judge due to missed deadlines or never filing required documents at all. My financial spread sheet provided to the court by Alexander & Ewert as evidence had multiple mathimatical errors and missing thousands of dollars of missing debt. This was called out by opposing counsel, during my testimony, in return making me look horrible in the judges eyes and as judge stated in final orders severely effected the outcomes. In addition No communication to opposing counsel or myself cost me $10,000+ in additional attorney fees after I was forced to find new counsel because Brooke or Allan NEVER contacted me after opposing counsel attempted 4 documented times to contact them. With all of this extreme stress and loss of money it was my biggest fears come true however, by far my children paid the biggest cost as their voices were not able to be represented in court. They will be paying that cost for the rest of their lives. It will cost me $30,000's+ to correct their egregious lack of representation. I have suffered mental anguish and financial ruin. I pray no other family suffers at their hands again.

I have been a client for 5 years. Desiree is only interested in keeping conflict happening and is not capable of taking any cases to court. She recommends anything that keeps her out of court such, PRE, CFI and PCDM investigations/appointments. Desiree is not capable of taking charge and fighting for your parenting rights. Find someone else who takes responsibility for fighting for your parenting time and rights. Not worth your money and time!
