I was feeling hopeless in the battle against my abusive ex-husband when I met Chris. My previous representation had done a poor job during my initial hearing, so I had little money to extend and even less trust. Unlike my first lawyer, Chris delivered on the commitments he made to me, and worked efficiently to keep the cost of my services low. He helped me keep calm by providing grounded perspective and all available options. Together we achieved my major objectives; we settled before a second hearing to secure the parenting time, decision making, and financial support I was seeking.

My divorce has languished in the courts for over four years. Chris came on to help me on recommendation from several other attorneys for a post-decree issue- and it was one of the best decisions I could have made. I only wish I would have made that decision four years ago! He listens, genuinely cares, and is super effective. I believe Chris got more done in a matter of months (and far fewer dollars) than my previous attorney got done over years of litigation. I can't say enough wonderful things about my attorney, Chris McLane. From the very first phone consult to the last day in court he has given 100% commitment to me and my case. Chris was wonderful to work with. We were in a tumultuous situation As most people find themselves in during these times. Our conversations with Chris were very calming. I will have to add though that even though his communication with us was very calming, whenever we ran into a potential glitch he was ready to play hardball and I was impressed. He know his stuff and is ready and able to pull the plug on anyone not wanting to play fair. I would hire him again in a heartbeat but let’s hope I never have.

Mr. McLane in not my primary lawyer but when my primary lawyer was unable to appear with me for court due to a schedule conflict, my attorney referred me to Mr. McLane. I can see why. He did a great job and we were awarded for it.

So I wanted to take a second and say that Chris was hands down the best of the best. He won my case and got my kids for me! Chris showed great respect and character. He actually made things super easy. Communication, action, and follow-up were all great. He definitely went into the court room with the "I know we'll win attitude" and it felt great. All aspects of the case and afterwards were discussed with super great detail, which made me feel a lot better and that he cared.
