H.Michael Steinberg was exactly what we were looking for. He represented my family honestly with the pragmatic approach to law I value highly. He didn’t over complicate unnecessarily but was quite capable of handling our unique situation. Michael has a calm, easy demeanor that put us at ease and we felt he was always approachable. He is a professional with added empathy that we truly appreciated. Michael responded promptly and to the point, resulting in our confidence with this firm. Throughout these many months we observed that he is well respected in the community and has earned, no doubt, the respect through his staunch mores and commitment to his vocation. Michael was an absolute dream to work with. I have never dealt with the court system, or the law in general, aside from a traffic ticket. He was able to get my 4 point, careless driving ticket down to 1 point for a defective headlight. While the outcome was all I could have hoped for, it was really Michael's character, availability, and ability to put me at ease that was truly miraculous. He's wonderful, was available at any time and was always quick to respond. He explained everything to me in the simplest terms, making sure I had a complete understanding of everything going on. He could clearly see I was shaken up by the whole thing and he did everything he possibly could to put me at ease. And boy, did it pay off. Mr. Steinberg is awesome. I ran into some unfortunate trouble a short time back and let me tell you this, I let go of three prior attorneys before finding Mr. Steinberg. He is no nonsenses, compassionate and to the point. Mr. Steinberg knows the law and his way around the courtroom. He was VERY professional, and his prices are more than fair. I would not hesitate to use Mr. Steinbergs Services again though I hope I never need them. This gentleman helped give me a second chance at things. I will forever be greatful...

This lawyer is not Harvey Abe Steinberg who is great and famous. Don't confuse!!

Mr. Steinberg did an exceptional job as our attorney in a very difficult case. He was patient and did not give up and kept looking for ways to bring down the charges my uncle was accused of. We are please with the outcome and are very grateful for his services and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I called Mr. Steinberg about an issue with a family member that I was very worried about. He called me back immediately and listened to my concerns. He told me he would review the situation and get back to me, which he did about two hours later. When we talked he was very kind and compassionate and seemed genuinely interested in giving me the best advice he could. I felt he was very sincere in trying to guide me thru the process without me having to retain him and incur the legal expenses. The situation has not yet been resolved, but I am very grateful to Mr. Steinberg for taking the time and effort to help me. I checked out many attorneys before making the decision to contact him. If it becomes necessary, I have complete confidence that he will make every effort to do as much as possible for my family as he would do for a member of his own family. I would highly recommend this attorney if you find you or someone you love needs legal help.

If I could give 0 stars I would!! BEWARE!!! He lies, he doesn't defend and takes your money and doesn't do anything!! This attorney is awful! He takes my husband's case for DV (which was BS in the 1st place) and charges a flat fee of $3000. My husband got an offer by the DA the 1st day, No DV (DA stated there wasn’t any evidence that would show DV), offers a deferred judgement with another minor charge, probation, a mental health evaluation and possible anger management classes. My husband didn't take it as Steinberg states that the lesser charge was "indeed still a DV charge and the DA is lying to him and that charge is 100% without a doubt a DV charge and they can't change the law to make it not a DV charge". Also goes on to explain how bad it can be for him to have the courts require a mental health evaluation, how that can be tragic and he’d NEVER let the court give that to one of his clients. So there is a continuance for discovery. We followed up multiple times with him for copies of the 911 call, police reports, court documents, etc that he stated he would provide us as soon as he got them. We would have requested them ourselves, if we were smart, but we figured he was hired to do a job and would provide them to us, as promised. Steinberg literally starts working on the case, listening to the 911 call, etc - the DAY of court, takes my husband into a room, proceeds to him he's guilty and he should take the offer that he supposedly "negotiated" with the DA, which was the EXACT SAME offer from Day 1 and now, somehow, it's a great deal and the lesser charge actually was NOT a DV charge after all, asks my husband if he heard the 911 call (which he hadn’t due to the fact that he promised to get it to him and hadn’t yet) and proceeded to tell him how awful of a call it was and he’s lucky he isn’t being charged with DV and screamed at my husband about how he doesn't have a case, he's guilty and to take the deal. There was no defense, no attempt at getting anything reduced. My husband was so stressed about the entire thing in the 1st place, didn’t know what was said on that 911 call, he took the deal (I wish I could've talked to him about it before he agreed because I would have had him to go trial because even though the attorney promised me he'd call me while he was talking to my husband about his options and what it would look like, he didn’t, and while we tried to do this all in advance of court, he hadn’t reviewed the case at all to do so) After court and my husband agreeing to the DA’s deal, he emailed over all the documents and we listened to the 911 call there was nothing in that call that made him sound “guilty” (and I knew there wasn’t and wouldn’t be), the only reason 911 was even called was a suicide threat was made and we were trying to get help and protection (which doesn’t work, by the way, so don’t involve the police, it just makes things worse). The "great deal” he was being offered (again, EXACT same deal as day 1) still included that mental health evaluation and now Steinberg totally changes his tone from the last court date and everything is such a great deal now. He did NOTHING for $3000. Literally NOTHING!! Don’t hire this guy, don’t trust him! Read back on other reviews, he tells multiple people they are guilty as well. Guilty or not (in our case it was a NOT, but even if he was) that is not what a defense attorney is there for. They need to provide a DEFENSE – not tell you you’re guilty and just take your money. He should be ashamed of himself and I wish I would have been on that phone call, like he promised, and could have talked my husband into firing this scam artist attorney and hiring a REAL attorney. BEWARE! Go somewhere else!

Called Michael to seek professional help, and money was the topic. If you want a lawyer that represents your needs and what your looking for you better have serious money or this guy will blow you off. For someone who loves to do what he loves, he sure doesn't show it. Would not recommend.

He was the most excellant attourney for my son , when I first called him his first question to me was what did I want and like other concerned mothers I said that I did not want my son to go to jail and he said very confidently that will not happen. Well after 5 or 6 months of many court apperances and nail biting by me, he came thru with his promise and my son never did go to jail and got a sweet deal that his charges were put on deference and my son has done brillantly and some of my sons good behavior is he really became close to Mr. Steinberg and he does not want him to think my son is the average criminal, who continually gets in trouble which he is not. Mr. Steinberg gave my son confidence and he gave myself a sense of peace thatI had not had since my son got his charges. I highly reccomend Mr. Steinberg, not ony for his above average experince and vast knowledge of the law, but because he is geniune and real , and never lets is client feel everything wilbe okay, he just lets his client know he will work his hardest to make the client have the best results possble. I and my son feel blessed that H. M. Steinberg was brought into our lives.
