Beginning to see why all the bad reviews. I’ve been trying for the last 3 or four weeks to reach this lady to see if she would represent me in my ssdi case to no avail. I have left voicemails and emails with no luck. I have been unable to reach ANY human being at all there! Doesn’t seem like the correct model for running a successful business, but what the hell do I know?

My experience with this Lady Karin is something I will never forget she save me from prison at 13yrs old ..she represented me and put her all into it and that was 30yrs ago..

Karin is a dishonest and disorganized lawyer. Furthermore she should not represent anyone with a “high conflict” situation. I consulted with her over two months ago. I provided her with a retainer within 72 hours after that consultation. I am trying to secure protection for myself and my son in dealing with an extremely volatile man with a long history of violence. This man also forged my signature and has been recently indicted with two felonies for this crime. The forgery was on the parenting plan which subsequently was implemented for temporary orders that we are currently living by. When I hired her I made it clear that my goal was to file an emergency motion for stay of orders until the forgery is resolved. She sat with my money. Did not even send a contract until March 7 and was rude and careless. She would never respond to any form of communication and when she finally did, she would only address the one point she felt like addressing. It was like she didn’t even read it all. Now, not only will she not return my retainer but has sent me a billing statement that says I owe her an additional $1050. It is itemized and there are only two charges after the date of the contract totaling $115. The remainder of the charges are for phone calls and e-mails asking questions about strategizing and making her aware of important information regarding my case. Because she is still withholding my funds and has not filed my motion, I am going to be forced to hand my so. Over to an escalating abuser and criminal as parenting time under the current orders is upcoming. The damage and pain she has caused goes deeper as as she disqualified my feelings of fear and urgency to protect myself and my son, ignored me, and quite frankly victimized me once more. This woman is part of a systematic failure and should be ashamed at herself for her conduct toward a fellow woman. I am simply appalled by her conduct. I will be filing a complaint with the Colorado Bar Association as well as taking her to small claims or suing her for legal malpractice for what she has done. My experience was almost identical to Theresa’s below. She never even filed a motion, represented me in court, or addressed anything whatsoever. Edit – I have just seen Karen‘s reply to this review. I would attach our contract but that is not legal. She is correct in her statement that she did not legally represent me as she never even signed onto my case yet took my retainer as well as charged me over 1000 additional dollars. I have already reported her to the BBB as well as the Colorado Bar Association.

Kylan King was my Estate Attorney when I tragically lost my daughter almost 3 years. I am overwhelming grateful for his Professionalism, his knowledge and most importantly his sincere compassion at the darkest and most difficult moments in my life! I called the Law Offices of Elaine E. Lukic because I was so impressed with her credentials and experience and I needed immediate advice for my son. I called and left a message and Elaine got back to me quickly despite the fact she was in a hospital dealing with a family crisis. She talked to me and my son and asked a critical question that led to her searching records and finding out my son had no recorded warrants outstanding. This meant we would not need her services but she continued to explain to us what this all meant and any future possibilities. She did all this without charging us. Elaine cares and is so knowledgeable. We were so so lucky to have found her.
