We were fortunate to have the services of Kimberly Jones when we hired the firm of King and Greisen to handle an age and disability discrimination case. Part of this case dealt with unemployment benefits that were denied due to a religious exemption. Kim researched and wrote numerous excellent briefs detailing why the organization should not have this exemption and why the denial of benefits was erroneous. Even though we lost this portion of the case at the hearing officer level, Kim continued to research the exemption and was successful in having the denial of benefits overturned at the Industrial Commission level and, ultimately, at the Court of Appeals level. Her hard work and excellent research proved to the court the organization's award and use of the religious exemption was not valid. Kim was always a perfect professional and explained complex legal issues in normal, easy to understand language.
