Mr. Gardner was a pleasure to work with! And further, he took the guesswork out of otherwise confusing legal documents. Mr. Gardner first listened, and then raised questions that I never would have thought of; but in a very kind way that showed his concern for me as a client and what was in my best interest. Mr. Gardner completed the work in a very timely manner – I can tell he took time to make sure everything was done correctly for my specific situation, but the “turnaround” time also made me feel like I was a priority and my documents were important. I called Mr. Gardner with some questions regarding my late father's estate. He was very punctual in contacting me back and we set up phone consultation for the next day, During that time, he was extremely helpful in answering questions as well as listening to my questions and concerns. He looked into some things for me, and got back to me in less than a week. He was very punctual, kind, and I felt that he truly cares for his clients. The only reason I did not hire him, is because my family has another lawyer in the town they live in, so Mr. Garder's services were not necessary.

I had to get an estate plan in place because I had procrastinated too many years. My plan had to cover many things: (1) assets for possible medical expenses/assisted living care for me since I have been denied long-term care, (2) assets for my wife in case I pass away before her (which is the most probable outcome), (3) assets for four step children, two from my current marriage and two from a prior marriage, (4) assets for other family members, and (5) charitable contributions to several organizations, a church, veteran agencies, schools, and other charitable organizations. It was very complicated, but Matt diagramed the entire estate plan on a flip chart, making all the different possibilities very clear to me. We also simulated what assets and their value would go to each of over 20 family members. After I signed the Trust, Will, and other documents, he and his para-legal assistant, Jessie Sanders, made sure that my Living Trust was properly funded and all other documents were executed.
