Besides being a smart attorney who is very knowledgeable and resourceful, Kim is an amazing person whose supportive communication gave me a huge confidence in myself while going through a very stressful time. As a father going through the custody agreement and divorce process, I walked into the situation just thinking I’d get limited time with the children and not have much of a say so in how things will go moving forward. I interviewed over 15 lawyers by the time I found Jamie Paine, and she was well worth the effort! Last year, my husband of ten years left and filed for a divorce, which I did not want. Having Jamie in my corner enabled me to be more fully mentally and emotionally available to our children, to go through my own emotional and grieving process, and to be kind and open to my spouse in an impossible situation -- because I was confident that Jamie was the right choice. If we had eventually completed the legal process of marriage dissolution, I would have been sad, but I also would have known that I did everything I could and would have been satisfied with what we were about to settle on, given the circumstances. I hope never to be in the situation again, but if somehow that happens, she will be my first call. I have the high personal and professional regard for Jamie, and give her the highest recommendation.
