Dishonest attorney. On July 24, 2019 I contacted her for an initial consultation on my divorce case. And as she requires it, I filled out her form giving my full name, my phone number, the name of my ex-wife and I also shared with Shea Burchill my divorce concerns related to my finances. On July 29, she contacted me back and we were in communication for 11 days via email (August 2, 6 and 8). But she suddenly disappeared and stopped replying to my messages with no explanations which seemed strange to me. A couple weeks later I found out, just by chance that she was working as the legal representative of my then wife. The area of my concerns that I shared with her by email was the area where I was most attacked by Shea Burchill months later during my divorce process. What a lack of ethics! August 6, 2020 UPDATE 2 hours after I left my review above, Shea Burchill responded with the following message: "Response from the owner 20 minutes ago I am also concerned that you assert I emailed you on 8/2, 8/6 and 8/8 but I am certain I emailed no potential new clients today (8/6) and 8/8 is two days from now." Shea Burchill's hasty response does nothing but ratify her lack of professionalism. Yes, August 8 is two days from now, but I was not talking about 2020. In the first line of my review I clearly indicate the date and year: 2019. The year 2019 also appears clearely in the photo I shared to support this review. These outbursts, lack of analysis or lack of reading comprehension hopefully serve as a warning for everyone who reads these lines and does not make the mistake of taking this attorney services.

Shea is fair, forthright, and acts with the highest integrity. I can't recommend her enough. There's nothing slimy or unethical about her, so you can feel good knowing she's in your corner. And if you have kids, know that they are her utmost concern. She took me through an unpleasant process in the smoothest way possible, and her professional behavior was head-and-shoulders above the other party's lawyers. She has earned her great reputation and I'm glad I worked with her.

Rude and not helpful

Shea was a pleasure to work with. She always responded with a sense of urgency and made me feel like I was a priority. Everything was executed in a timely manner, as well as her follow-ups with my husband's less-than-attentive attorney, who waited until every ungodly last minute to do everything. I am pleased with her legal services and will be recommending her to my friends who find themselves in the same situation I did.
