Following my DUI charge, I was exceedingly worried about the outcome of my arrest and subsequent court date. There were so many facets of the DUI offense to consider that I felt overwhelmed and frightened. After researching and meeting with many of the lawyers in my area, I hired Amy as my DUI attorney. Amy's knowledge of the DUI offense, immense experience within the justice system, and empathetic support not only guided me through this stressful and exhausting process but also gave me peace of mind. Above all, Amy was able to negotiate a plea bargain and therefore, a far better outcome for me in court. This is truly appreciated. Thank you for your help, Amy!

Amy knows her business. She responded to all my questions (or freak outs) via phone or email. Amy jumped at every chance to help me in and out of the courtroom. I don't intend to ever be in trouble again, but if it happens, she will be my first phone call or email to ask for help. THANK YOU AMY!

Amy has undertaken two cases for my family. In the first case I was arrested for a DUI after I had taken a standard dose of ambien (10 mg) (a sleep medication). Unexpectedly I had to take my psychiatrically ill son to our cabin after taking the medication. I suffered a complete global amnesia for about 30 minutes and was lucky not to have an accident. I regained my senses when stopped by the police. Amy carried out a thorough interview gave an opinion on the case and proceeded to obtain the necessary documents to get a deeper insight into the case. As a result, after her negotiations with the DA she was able to offer me a reduction to a DWAI with only the requirements of the laws passed by the Colorado government. Amy provided a choice between the DWAI plea or going to trial and presented the case for both options. I accepted the plea after considering both options. The court proceeding were brief and Amy gave a spirited explanation of the reasons for my driving after taking ambien. The result was that my insurers were very reasonable and the conviction had no effect on my premiums. The second case concerned my psychiatrically ill son. He suffers from severe paranoia and believed that people were coming into his apartment at night, pulling him out of bed and stealing his camera. He challenged one person about this and was knocked unconscious by that person who then drove way in a SUV with no plates, my wife and I witnessed this. After being knocked out when he came round my son had a psychotic incident in which he broke a car window and ran around the apartments shouting that he would get even with his attacker even though that person had clearly left the apartment block. The police were called by a lady who claimed my son had threatened to kill her (we did not hear our son shout this threat). The lady and the owner of the vehicle with the broken window insisted on pressing charges and my son was charged with third degree menacing and criminal damage. Again Amy carefully and gently interviewed my son and gathered all the information concerning the case. My wife and I were able to contradict statements made by the lady complaining that she had be threated, but Amy negotiated such a good plea that going to trial would have been pointless, as a result the costs were $26! This plea was especially important as my son is a permanent resident and could have been deported if he had been found guilty. Amy worked with our immigration lawyer to ensure that the plea agreed on with the DA did not render our son liable to deportation. This result was excellent and all we could have hoped for. All penalties were deferred and our son was put on unsupervised probation for one year. We were extremely pleased with the result and glad we did not choose the option to go to trial with all its uncertainties. We have been very pleased with the service Amy has rendered our family and would certainly use her services again should any of us have the misfortune to clash with the law in the future. We would also unreservedly recommend her to our friends and any one else who is in need of a criminal defense lawyer.

In all of my life, after the Viet Nam war and beyond, I have never hired an attorney for anything. But after an accident in 2014 that caused some damage to neighbors’ property, she stood by my side most capably before court and in court. She is a most honorable person who knows when and what to say at the right time. I paid her requested retaining fee and was pleased to hear that I would get a refund after the trial. My case could not have gone better. Her costs were minimal and I received a nearly 65% refund. With all of the adverse stories one may hear about lawyers, they do not apply to this lady! I hope to never see the doors of a justice center again, but Amy gave me chances to sleep at night and rest peacefully. I certainly would recommend Amy for anyone needing a defense attorney.

Amy is very experienced and this made her a great attorney to defend me in a pretty complicated traffic dispute where I was charged with Assault 3. She became very emotionally invested in getting me the most positive outcome. She helped me be patient with the drawn out timeline and the way District Attorneys do everything at the last moment, and I would have been distraught if I had not been prepared for a long drawn out process and the 11th hour decision making. She called in an expert who was very helpful and she used the information to my advantage.

She responded quickly to my questions and provide me with all information with possible outcomes of my case. Without her assistance I would have never been offered the deal that I received. I owe it all to Amy. Highly recommended! Thank you for everything!

Amy is a good solid attorney that knows and understands both sides of the legal system. She is willing to listen to your side of the story and give you options for determining how you want to approach your case. I had two misdemeanor charges (Harassment, Menacing). She was able to get the Menacing charge dropped and to have my sentence deferred which was huge as I can have my record sealed after one year.
