Three years ago I found Dawn using AVVO. I did my due diligence by interviewing and consulting with a few attorneys prior to sitting down with Dawn. My son's mother can be challenging to communicate with, to where I don't want to be in the same room with her for any length of time. We hammered out a parenting agreement with the use of a fair mediator. Dawn's a straight to the point attorney tell her the facts and don't waste yours and her time, then let her fight for you. I did have one bad incident that we had to return to court. Thank goodness Dawn had my back. This appearance would have costed me a lot in child support fees had I not retained Dawn. Son's mother wanted 100% custody and paid supervised child visitation, basically THE BOOK at me. Which the case was resolved through family counseling and my parenting time restored over six months. Our father-son relationship is fine and its great watching him grow into a young teenager. I love instilling my family values and mentoring my son and no one can do it better than myself, not the school system or the government. Dawn is diligent in getting back to me in a timely fashion about case sensitive information. I met Dawn after I had to flee a very dangerous situation with my daughter after I was seriously injured in a brutal attack. He fought me on the civil restraining order and that is when I hired Dawn. Hired for divorce proceeding. Many mistakes were made and I was totally disappointed with her court room skills. She may be ok for mediation or settlements but I would not have her represent me again if I knew I had to go for a court hearing.
