Justin walked us through all the scenarios and helped us understand what we needed, then guided us through the steps necessary to achieve our goals. Their preliminary process to complete all the documentation was simple. It was completed on the phone and through Zoom initially which saved us time. Denise made the paperwork process easy. She is very friendly and knowledgeable and ensured we were comfortable with the documentation and we understood each step and each piece of paper we needed to sign. I had an estate that was tied up to s trust, and was unable to have the property relinquishes to me. From the initial phone call, I made an appointment. The lawyer was prompt on time and made a decision right away. From start to finish was efficient, they kept me informed answered all my questions. On Jan. 1, 2019, I unexpectedly took over the financial and medical affairs of my first cousin because of the fatal illness of her long-time companion. I live in North Dakota, and my cousin resided in a memory care unit in Lakewood, Colo. Fortunately, she had had Phillips & Blow, PC do an estate plan for her several years before that. Everything I needed was in a wonderful binder the firm prepared for her. Attorneys John Phillips and Justin Blow and Senior Paralegal Denise Husa guided me on everything I had to do. On May 4, 2019, my cousin died, and I went from having Power of Attorney for her to being the Personal Representative for her estate. This was all new to me, and the firm provided me with another binder of information along with help in person during my trips to Colorado and by phone and email. My questions were always answered clearly and promptly. The firm also helped me find a CPA to handle my cousin's and her estate's tax returns. I cannot say enough good things about Phillips & Blow, and I am so thankful my cousin had chosen such a fine law firm who made everything go well even though I live 700 miles away. They are the best!
