I was referred to Patrick Cooney by a friend for a consult on a matter involving a family member in assisted living. Patrick was sympathetic yet professional in asking for all of the necessary information he needed to evaluate my case. One thing I appreciated most about our conversation was his honesty in telling me that the case was a bit outside his scope. However, he was able to refer the matter to an associate law office who dove deeper into the elements of my case. Although the response from the associate office was not what I was hoping for, they shared their professional opinion and recommendation for me to move forward. Patrick then was considerate enough to take additional time to discuss a new strategy with me and answer several additional questions. It took me several unsuccessful attempts over a few months to achieve what I achieved in two conversations with Patrick. I would definitely recommend Furey, Donovan, Cooney and Dyer for your legal needs.

Good friends recommended this firm to us about 10 years ago when we needed to update our Estate documents. We were very pleased with the work done by Attorney William Tracy, now retired. We once again had up-to-date Wills/Testamentary Trusts, Financial Powers of Attorney, and Healthcare Representatives. Only our Living Wills did not require any change. More recently we returned to the firm for counsel on possible document changes because of my husband's dementia diagnosis. We were in the process of making changes recommended by Attorney Timothy Furey when my husband unexpectedly passed away. Now the firm, specifically Attorney Molly Plante, is representing me in the Probate process for my husband's Estate. The process has been proceeding very smoothly which I attribute to Ms. Plante's legal and technical knowledge. Plus, she is very easy to work with: clear, pleasant, and accessible.

As Executor of my father's estate, I sold real estate that was in the estate. The buyer, who already lived at the property, had major issues with legal representation and financing. Attorney Furey and his legal team (Rachel Jacobsen) went above and beyond to answer questions that the buyer's attorney had, as well as do much of the due diligence that the buyer's attorney was supposed to do, in order to expedite the closing as much as possible. They even started an eviction process in case it was going to take longer than probate was willing to wait. Attorney Furey and Rachel know the laws very well, they were very organized, had great attention to detail and fought for me until the matter was closed. This kept me at peace throughout the process, despite the delays and issues. Thank God I had great legal representation!!
