Freed-Marcroft is exceptional. To me, integrity is everything - and it’s clear that they hold the same standards. We spent a long time as a family considering second-parent adoption. As a two-mom household who brought two children into the world together, it always seemed 1) unnecessary and 2) that by doing so, we were agreeing with others that we weren’t a family to begin with - even if both our names were on the birth certificates. Freed-Marcroft offered pro-bono adoptions after the Roe vs Wade ruling. In those moments where freedom was taken from so many, this firm gave so many of us a true gift: assurance. We jumped at the opportunity and we’re so very lucky and blessed to have our beautiful boys officially protected by law. One of the most memorable parts of this very seamless process, was just how many times we were reminded by the staff we worked with, that this is just paper - it’s a formality, a document and signature - because a family is a family is a family. WE WON! My incredible team at FreedMarcroft made it possible. Going into the decision to consider a divorce can be extremely challenging, stressful, anxiety packed and difficult to navigate.
