There are no words to express how grateful I am to Freed Marcroft. This firm went above and beyond to help my wife and me with a second parent adoption after the overturning of Roe v Wade. They took our case pro bono and walked us through the entire process step by step. Our questions were always answered throughly and quickly. My wife and I never felt “othered” by a single member of their team. I would highly recommend this firm to any same sex parents looking to protect their families.

To Pricey for what I need, and I was asked to send more money before my paperwork was done.

My experience with Freedmarcroft law firm was overall very good. They are very responsive to the clients needs; sets realistic expectations and are professional. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that they are expensive. But you get what you pay for.

The team at Freed Marcroft is outstanding at developing a strategy that is so personalized...not some cookie cutter response. Divorce is hard, and everyone I've met at the firm has been so impressive and professional and empathetic. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends who find themselves in the challenging situation of needing a divorce!!!

I have been fighting my case in court for 5-6 years now. I have had a prior lawyer and although she wasn’t horrible, I wasn’t happy. That’s when I decided to look elsewhere and I was recommended to look into Misty Simmons and I am thankful I did! I cannot recommend this Freed Marcroft enough. While we utilized the firm for second parent adoption, I am confident that I would want them representing me with anything related to family law. Throughout our journey with them, we worked with probably five or more employees (legal assistants, paralegals, lawyers, etc.). Every single person we interacted with was compassionate, professional, and knowledgeable. I was struck by how passionate every member of the team was about supporting LGBTQ+ families. Even in the general sense of family law, they seemed to love their work and truly care for the children involved in their cases. One thing I found most impressive was how each person we worked with spoke so highly of their colleagues and the kindness and authenticity of attorneys Freed and Marcroft. I have no legal background but based simply on the morale of the employees, Freed Marcroft seems like a fantastic place to work! On a more personal note, the legal documents used to apply for second parent adoption are outdated in terms of LGBTQ+ friendliness. Despite the insensitive legal jargon that permeated many of the federal documents, Freed Marcroft made us feel comfortable, confident, and 1000% supported throughout the entire adoption process. For anyone realizing they may need representation but are concerned about choosing the right firm: I trust Freed Marcroft implicitly. I trust their legal knowledge and competence. I trust that they consider the vast emotional and financial burdens on families while representing their clients. And I trust that you will feel genuinely supported with Freed Marcroft by your side.
