I called Melanie after my daughter was expelled from school and I needed legal advice about the upcoming Board of Education hearing and what to expect during this process. She answered all my questions regarding the hearing and offered insite as to certain questions that I should be asking the BOE. She also reviewed the agreement that we were able to come to regarding the terms, length and continuing education that the BOE was to provide my daughter during the expulsion. Her knowledge was tremendously helpful and I don't know what I would have done without her during such a difficult and stressful time. She answered all of my emails immediately, as well as my calls and was there throughout the entire ordeal even without having any prior notice of the situation. I hope no parent ever faces this situation but if you do Melanie is the attorney to call - highly recommend her!!!

My son has been in special education since entering preschool and is about to graduate HS.
