Hired Attorney Pattis to defend me in a civil matter with multiple plaintiffs. Long story short, he got us both in trouble and now I'm on the hook for almost a billion dollars.
I will not be using him for my bankruptcy case.

I hired Attorney Pattis in a desperate attempt to have my civil rights protected. After hearing my story, Pattis counseled me, first, by stating, "Well, we have to save your house...I don't deal with foreclosures, so you need to lawyer-up." And, having trusted my attorney's advice, I did just that.
As years passed, my case was delegated to minions in his office -- which, understandably, is his right -- but trying to get a response back was next to impossible and extremely frustrating for someone who is standing in the dark waiting to be heard and scared to death because they're spending their life's savings trying to save their home by dutifully following their attorney 's advice. I mean, if you can't trust your attorney...
For Norm, I guess this was just a failure that will never be publicized. He is an excellent writer and sounds great on paper -- a warrior lawyer -- but don't let that fool you.
In the end, Norm Pattis did not do the right thing, by me, other than humbly acknowledging an email, I sent him, expressing my dissatisfaction, by stating, "I get it. I get it."
Well, if he really got it, he would have done the right thing and reimbursed me the money I paid for him to do his job. Of course, that will never happen, but maybe someone can learn from my mistake.
Unfortunately, this brilliant man/lawyer didn't even come close to satisfaction. I never made it to court. I was never given a say. My case was thrown out. Why would such a brilliant experienced lawyer take on such a case?
So, buyer beware.

Rapport. Reputation. Respect. Reciprocate. During my military days I always found resolve in character building acronyms. Prior planning prevents piss poor performance. Today professions have chose to pick their poison. It would seem in Connecticut the legal paragons have done the same. My rapport respect reciprocated for this attorney's reputation began in 1995. An aggressive advocate I met in the summer of 1995. Norm was a Lion in the jungle of Connecticut legal snakes. There are lawyers and people who have law degrees. I left his office in 1995 knowing had I needed a lawyer he would be the lawyer I would hire. Fast forward life to 2018. My son facing very bias and harassing arrests where once his private anal regions were impeded upon by overzealous Waterbury Police. I wanted a advocate to address these allegations I have made and very thoroughly investigated. Neither have been done. I paid 5800 hundred dollars for lip service. I still have not met this attorney since 1995. Evasive office staff give me the runaround. My son sits in jail for a year unsentenced and unsure. This attorney and his firm have not given us a retainer after I have given money on reputation rapport respect which has not been reciprocated. My son is being forced to take a bad plea due to attorneys appeasing one case over another aiding prosecution's percentage for favors. What you chose to exude while a law student has become a clients worse nightmare. A lawyer who settles without exploring and investigating all the facts. Norman has gotten famous since the corduroy pants and suspender summers of 1995. The black pony tail has become wise like old sage and grey hairs. A client's case is as good as the advocate who is retained to fight for him. Once we pick from the bowl of salad negating what vegetables are worth saving or discarding we rob the recipient of this bowl of salad all the nutrients of all vegetables and their unique flavors because of one appearance of bad taste. Be of good courage. We need your profession. Don't become the norm. Plea bargain advocates who should never want to look in the mirror. Norman has my money. I have been bamboozled and led astray. May you offer your client better advocacy than the one I chose to retain for my son. God bless the legal profession. Only a few diamonds in the rough. Inform not offend is the intent. When you call and can't meet with a person you have given close to 6 grand of 7500 hundred you expect a consultation. I have not paid the lady 1500 until my wife and I can confer and or get a retainer and or expectation of services.

My name is Anna and i was involved in a high profile case in 2012 that went world wide with media . i met with Normal Pattis . He came to Rikers Island where iwas held on a 2 million bail and within a few minutes i knew he was the right lawyer and could go the distance. He handled my case with impeccable legal skills and his handling of the press was an added bonus. He went after the DAs office like a Pitt bull and was relentless. He is one of today most brilliant legal minds and anyone with a criminal case should count their blessings if Norman Pattis is standing beside them in a court room. He has a vast knowledge of not only criminal law but civil and very crafty at using it. He filed a vindictive prosecution suit against the state and got my 2 million dollar bail lowered to 250k in a short time. I considered myself lucky to have him as my lawyer and his staff. The dont make lawyers like him anymore.

My wife was being manipulated by a local Municipality and found herself in a situation where she needed a lawyer that would be a bulldog in the court room, that knew his way around the legsl system and that would FIGHT for her rights. Norm and his team were highly knowledgable and professional and together they came up with a strategy to help my wife. although getting thru to him by phone as been difficult, they are prompt with being at court to defend their client. i would recommend Norm Pattis and his team without hesitation. He was reccommended to be by a police officers wife as they had seen him in action. when you need a lawyer. you want someone that the prosecutor fears, the judges respect and that will put their ALL into defending you!

Norman Pattis has represented me in criminal court and in the Appellate Court. He has since 2011 pursued every possible avenue to see that my rights are defended. He has represented me as well on a workers compensation case against the State of Connecticut where medical treatment was wrongfully with held and he was successful in getting that treatment approved.
