Ruth is our hero. I called her when the situation between my daughter’s biological father and I got to a really bad place. I had been dealing with 7 years of bullying and erratic true narcissistic behavior. I finally had enough. I had two other lawyers (both males) in the past, and both completely incompetent. One was local: Needle Cuda. Which I now refer to as Noodle Coodle – because do you really want Mr. Noodle from Elmo’s World representing you? They represented me for 2 years and accomplished nothing… Not a single thing… In fact they were so bad they ended up helping the other side! I signed a retainer agreement with Maya Murphy for Ruth Israely to represent us August 1st. In just 2 months, Ruth accomplished what Needle Cuda could not in 2 years!! Ruth is incredibly intelligent and extremely thorough. She’s so thorough that during a break in one of our court cases, the security guard asked for Ruth’s business card – and both the court reporter AND the judge’s assistant complimented her on how thorough she was – exact words! If that’s not telling of her skills I don’t know what is. Ruth set realistic expectations and delivered actual results. In two months, we won 2 cases: a court order to grant us the ability to travel with our daughter on a planned family trip to the UK (her biological father refused to sign the affidavit needed to travel despite it being in our court ordered parenting time), and a court order granting us the right to change our daughter’s last name to my current married last name (again we already had a court order granting us this but our daughter’s biological father refused to sign the paperwork to move forward with the court ordered name change). Her advice, guidance, and compassion is unmatched. She is also responsive which is not a trait I’ve found in previous lawyers. She is who you want on your side, you certainly don’t want to be sitting on the other side of her!

Joe responded to my email right away and we spoke with in minutes. He was patient and listened to my concerns! Joe gave me honest sound advice! I am beyond grateful for his valuable insight!

Incredibly unimpressed with this firm. One lawyer showed up extremely late to our first call while the other had no idea about the case, despite Joseph saying he prepped them both. Joseph seems amazing but then he pawns you off.
