I have known Tom for a few years. When I decided to put together a Trust I looked him up and saw that his focus is Estates and Trusts...I called him and he spent over 30 mins. asking me questions and advising me. i did my own research online and decided he was the one that could help me. He was courteous, kind, understanding, and most of all thorough and well versed. He built my Trust and Living Will etc., I highly recommend Tom Drew.

My experience with Attorney Drew was extremely positive. I found Mr. Drew to be very responsive, professional, and reasonable in terms of expenses. My mother's estate turned out to be much more complicated than we expected, and the CT Department of Social Services was unusually thorough and sometimes difficult to deal with, but with Mr. Drew's assistance, we reached a very positive outcome. His assistance was invaluable and he did a great job in advocating the interests of my mom.

I’m an unsatisfied client of Tom Drew who I hired for Estate Planning. He didn’t invest the time or have patience to properly educate us about his estate plans and was intolerant to accommodate and address our concerns. His estate plan could have been better formatted with articles headings, an index, more definitions and key words notations to easily reference subjects and to facilitate comprehension. We couldn't go forward with the estate plans he submitted. The relationship was terminated and not in a pleasant manner. We lost our $2,215 advance.

First, I found that hiring the right attorney who specializes in elder care law is no easy task. My usual general practitioners, in CT who I have dealt with for over a decade, would not touch my mother's elder care legal issues and recommended an attorney who specializes in elder care law. My one attorney recommended elder care attorneys more than hour's drive away and my other attorneys could not recommend anyone in Fairfield County. After my mother executed the elder law documents Atty Drew drafted, he explained that over 90 % of his work today is in elder care law. Second, from being a senior executive in global business with a graduate degree in accounting, I can tell you that a JD with a CPA is a pretty rare find and those that do have both degrees focus on tax law, not elder care law. Atty Drew said that he has done tax and business law in the past as well. I worked with Atty Drew in establishing a living will and life estate for my mother. He was a first-rate professional, who communicated with my mother and I about every possible detail throughout the process.

I know Attorney Drew for years and I know how difficult is for beneficiaries to accept Probate Court's orders and what is mandated in the Will. Attorney Drew is always searching for the best way to solve differences. If someone has a disagreement of course, will try to revenge nowadays in the Internet. I recommend Attorney Drew for all your Estate Planning and Estate Administration manners, his experience and knowledge about Elderly law and Probate issues including Wills helped us to resolve our differences years ago.

I worked with Tom Drew on setting up my first will about a decade ago, and several years later also had him work on setting up an LLC for me in Connecticut. Over the years, I've also run employment issues and contracts past him for feedback (although that's not his specialty). In every case he was extremely thorough, well informed, considerate, responsive and a pleasure to work with.
