My parked car was hit by another vehicle. Although his insurance company paid for the repair of my car, they refused to compensate me for "diminished value" (which is required under Connecticut law). I hired Attorney Forrest to represent me to get reimbursed for the diminished value of my vehicle from the insurance company. Attorney Forrest was clearly very knowledgeable and also very professional from the very start and also throughout the case. His staff kept me in the loop about every detail about my case. He never took any significant action without discussing it with me and allowing me to make decisions about my case. He hired an excellent appraiser who submitted a written report about the fair market diminished value of my car due to the accident and repair. Attorney Forrest was willing to go to trial, but the evidence he collected was so overwhelming, that the insurance company agreed to a settlement that was much more than I had initially expected. I enthusiastically recommend Attorney Forrest to anyone in Connecticut who has suffered damage to a vehicle due to the other party's fault, but especially for a diminished value claim.

I contacted Attorney Forrest after an auto accident. Although not at fault, I was getting a run-around on settlement from the other guy's insurance to make us "whole". My car was Audi was only a year old and with representation by Matthew Forrest, the other insurance company company paid in full, including compensation for the devaluation of the Audi. One of the best for the Auto Diminished Value cases. My 4 week old Tesla Model S was rear ended and suffered $30k worth of repairs and no car for 3 months. The other party's insurance low balled with a $2000 Diminished Value offer. I contacted several law firms and DV experts across NJ, NY who either didn't see the merits of the case or thought its not worth their time. I then saw an NBC Interview of attorney Forrest explaining how DV Claims work,how most people don't know about it and how insurances try to low ball you. I contacted attorney Forrest and during the first 5 mins of the call he saw the merits of the case and we had a clear path forward. I was set right expectations in terms of how long it would take and what it would take from my side, what's the best case settlement and what could be the worst case scenario. After a year, we finally reached the settlement of $15k which is more than I expected based on DV analysis(ofcourse there's standard attorney fee and some my out of pocket expenses). Although often in Court attending to his cases, he and his office are responsive to communications. I felt quite confident I was in good hands.
