My partner and I knew we wanted a prenup before getting married, and we wrote up a “plain language” version of what we hoped to see / get out of the final legal document. Rick was an invaluable resource, asking clarifying questions, answering anything I was curious or unsure about, and making sure heappraised me of the implications of exactly the way the contract was worded. He was extremely kind, helpful, and clear. His paralegal, Leslie, was also extraordinarily helpful and patient, managing details and keeping me appraised of updates. Rick is not inexpensive to hire, but I felt confident and justified in my decision to do so, as I was treated with respect, kindness, and received great counsel (literally).

Is Rick expensive? Yes. But I also promise he’s the best divorce attorney you will ever hire. He will fight tooth and nail for you to get an honest settlement. He’s kind and collegiate to his clients but, when you need him to get nasty and fight for you he will, always. I recommend him with no hesitation. If you are going through a nasty divorce like I did, he’s the only one I would ever trust.

I hired Rick to handle my divorce and post custody modification. He lied and manipulated me to believe he had my back when he didn't. For two years I wanted to change the poorly written custody agreement he coerced me to sign, and then he preyed on my fear and desperation by taking several large sized retainer fees and purposely made little to no progress on getting me any additional custody with my son. I finally got a second opinion by an attorney who confirmed that Rick's tactics were foolish, unnecessary and costly. I have since hired a smart and professional attorney who swiftly got the simple and long overdue custody modification done right.
