Gave a brief description of the issue I need an attorney for. Was set up to consult with Miss Stevens, paid the $200 fee, she listened for 30 minutes, called the next day and said that she couldnt help me but she thinks I should proceed and file for a hearing! I asked her to reconsider and told her the regulations of which I was being accused of breaking with my job. She said she would look into it and return my call on Monday July 6th with an answer. (This conversation happened on Thursday the 2nd of July) She never called. Ive left multiple messages for her and still havent heard back. Called several other attorneys offices only to discover shes not the type of lawyer I need and she never bothered to tell me that.

For those of you that are considering hiring Tom, I would like to share a few things with you. I finished up my trial last February. I was on trial for a list of charges, among those charges were first degree murder of a law enforcement officer along with two other first degree murder charges, a few kidnapping charges, etc. I was fortunate because I had Tom representing me. But I’m not going to lie I was nervous at first because I didn’t trust him. Then we talked and he told me it’s not his job to judge me, it’s to fight for me. And that’s just what he did. From beginning to end he fought. I’ve never in my life had someone fight for me the way Tom did. I don’t know if you’ve ever dealt with lawyers before but usually they file all the paperwork and once everything is done they contact you and let you know what’s going on, so the whole time you’re in the blind. Not with Tom though. He made sure I was involved every step of the way, regardless of the news, good or bad he always told me and he was always honest about it. There were times when I just wanted to quit but he wouldn’t let me. Because honestly what were the odds of me being found not guilty? But that’s what happened. After almost two months of fighting, we won. I guess what I’m trying to say is if you’re looking for someone that’s going to fight for you regardless of your situation, then Tom’s your guy.
