The Delaware Elder Law Center staff were so helpful in helping our Father recieve the support he needed to live in his home and have a high quality of life. We are highly recommending their services for medicaid acceptance.

If you have elderly parents, I don’t care what condition they’re in, you need to have a consultation with Wade and his staff. You need to prepare for the future which for most people means that somebody will need to provide caregiving assistance to one or both parents. Wade provided me with a solution and Allysyn put many hours in to make sure that I didn’t need to quit my job or put my retirement in jeopardy to ensure that both my family members are taken care of. My only regret is that I didn’t contact them sooner. A huge thank you to everyone at Delaware Elder Law Center!

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! YOU WILL BE MISTREATED, ROBBED, AND NOT RECEIVE THE ASSISTANCE YOU PAY FOR. Witnessed a client receive horrible care from this firm. The communication was abhorrent. Allysyn would go weeks without answering emails then send what can only be described as demanding and rude correspondence. She seems to lack basic computer skills and would frequently misplace sent files, and continuously request files in her possession. Her title of expert is self placed. Wade never seemed to have any idea what was going on when telephone calls would take place. He came across as threatening when told the client wasn’t receiving adequate help from Allysyn. For assisting people in an archaic system they were not specific in how it progresses and barely did what the client assumed they were paying for. They just sent lists of documents on an irregular basis, and were never thorough on how to achieve the goal. It was believed that paying the fee would mean the firm takes over everything until the process was approved. This was not the situation. The client did all of the work with barely there email communication. This is unacceptable. After almost a year of being, essentially harassed after paying for a service the firm dropped the case with zero warning on false claims of not being given pertinent information. This is untrue and complete shady lawyer behavior. Do not use this firm if you expect actual care and consistency. You will receive neither and be left feeling robbed. If I could give this business zero stars, I would gladly do so.

I started working for Wade Scott (the attorney) this year as his Marketer. But do not let that dissuade this review, as I am not writing this for my own benefit. I am writing this because I have never worked for such an HONEST, caring and just plain GOOD HEARTED man - in my life! He truly takes his time with every client, and they become part of our work “family.” I am SO blessed in that I joined the best team/family EVER. Allysyn our awesome paralegal is the sweetest, smartest, and hardest working Certified Medicaid Planner... and Jen, our Office Administrator, is the most organized, gentle and kind soul with so much knowledge as her background is in social work. If there is something we CAN’T help you with ourselves, we will direct and guide you to the BEST people in the industry..

When we moved our parents into the Wilmington area, we called on Attorney Wade Scott of The Delaware Elder Care Law Center to set them up with an updated will and health directives. Our experience working with Wade was so positive, we had him update our legal documents as well. Since using him for these major documents, we have also been able to call on him to assist us on short notice, with other legal needs. Wade is extremely knowledgeable on the many facets of elder law and estate planning. He is a very kind and caring person, who is sensitive to your needs and those of your family.
