When My wife and I moved from Maryland to Delaware, our will needed a completely overhauled due to a blended family, complying with Delaware law, and having needs for specified trusts covering inheritance and avoiding probate and potential family discord. Since we did not have legal backgrounds, Leslie listened to all of our concerns, and answered our legal questions in easy to understand english. She also offered to meet either in person or via zoom with our adult children to explain the terms of our will and answer any questions they had. This alleviated a major concern of potential family infighting. Leslie gave us guidance on elder care and protection through long term health care insurance. Additionally, we felt uncomfortable naming any of our adult children to be our executor (s). We asked Leslie if she would be our executor. She agreed which gave us much comfort. Doing a will even with a trusted attorney is anxiety producing because of then nature important decisions that must be made such as elder care when you can't live in your house, division of your estate, where you want to be buried, best way to avoid the government from taking your life long hard work of savings, and how to answer questions from your surviving children. Leslie was very patient with all our concerns and went the extra mile to make us feel confident that we understood what the legal language meant and that all our concerns were fairly and legally handled with confidence. Additionally Leslie offers an annual maintenance program, in case laws change or circumstances change.
