Violated Attorney/Client privilege by informing opposing counsel of altered evidence submitted in case. Clearly only interested in fulfilling my former employer & former Union's desire to uphold my termination. Selected an arbitrator that awarded a police officer reinstatement, after the police officer dragged a handcuffed suspect down an embankment. The arbitrator was also a permanent panel member for my former employer, and although he had extensive interactions with unions, there was no past dealings with the union in which I belonged. I had to constantly call to inquire about the decision, and was constantly avoided until I contacted an individual at the Arbitrators Association. Claiborne Newlin sent the ruling via email approximately a week after receiving it....also the decision was to be rendered within 45 days, and it wasn't. The last hearing was held in October, and I was informed in December. If this review helps one individual, then my termination won't be in vain!
