Don't even waste your time obtaining this lawyer...he took our money and handed my brother in a silver platter over to the state. In the beginning he promised he would fight as hard as he could for my brother..but it's like soon as he was paid in full he did nothing to defend my brother and to top it off he told my brother to lie in court because the D.A don't believe him, he don't believe him, and won't no judge believe him..So my brother walked in the courtroom believing Eugene was going to back him up...instead Eugene did nothing to defend my brother. I have written a letter to the ABA to file a complaint Eugene..because I want the board to know what he did was unethical and we will not be silent. My brother signed his life away listening to Eugene. Don't do the same to your family

This is the most unprofessional lawyer I have came across ever l. He was cool in the beginning ready to fight when we made the first payment, then by final payment he decided to make my brother lied and cost him his credibility in court it was no more fighting for my brother at this point when it came time for him to stand up for my brother he sat in court and said nothing he didn't bother to do what he was paid to do..but as a lawyer right wrong or indifferent he was paid to defend my brother but instead he served him to the district attorney on a sliver platter he remained quiet with nothing to say on top of the fact he didn't even do his due diligence to corroborate my brother story he just decided my brother was guilty and did nothing after thousands of dollars spent with this man he did nothing you are better off with a public defender then this man. How do you sit in a court room with your client and defend nothing he told you not did you have his best interest at hand you just wanted our families money you force a lie to be be done with the case from jump if I know what he was going to do I could have went a different avenue a different lawyer.. Eugene Maurer cost my brother his life because he's not the 9ne who has to do the time for him. I will say this you time as a raggedy as state lawyer will come to an end real soon

I DONT THINK THIS LAWYER IS WORTH THE MONEY HE ASKS FOR...IN THE BEGINNING HE WAS COOL FIGHTING FOR MY BROTHER..THEN AFTER WE PAID HIM..ITS LIKE HE DIDNT KNOW WHO WE WERE. THE DAY BEFORE MY BROTHERS HEARING HE TOLD HIM TO LIE IN COURT..BECAUSE THE DA DON'T BELIEVE HIM, HE DONT BELIEVE HIM, AND NO JUDGE IS GOING TO BELIEVE HIM. MY BROTHER GOT SENTENCED 11/2/2018. HE GAVE MY BROTHERS CASE AWAY..ITS LIKE HE WAS MORE FOR THE STATE AND NOT MY BROTHER. IM REPORTING HIM THE THE ABA.

$5000.00 so he can get me the same thing as a friend got with a public defender

Over the years I have had my run into the law but because of Mr. Maurer I have no felonies and I got to attend special courts when completed the charges were dismissed. Before I found Mr. Maurer I shopped different attorney's and for a bench trail for other lawyer's was approximately $1,900 and Mr. Maurer fee was $1,550. He gets the best pleas and other attorney's with different areas of law seem to all refer Mr. Maurer for any criminal activities. Also, I should mention his fee mention above is for the Court of Common Pleas with a bench trail (just the judge and no jury).

Everyone is entitled to legal representation, and if mass murderers can be defended, certainly accused child molesters can and should be. Our experience with Mr. Mauer was very positive. Although our son agreed to plead guilty for a minor drug offense when he was (self-proclaimed) "young and stupid," it was only after Mr. Mauer had fully explained his rights, responsibilities and consequences. We were able to make an informed decision that we were all comfortable with. I only wish all young people could afford the kind of quality representation that we received (although I have to tell you that Mr. Mauer's fees are very reasonable and certainly well-earned!). It's not just a shame but a travesty that people will strike out against a lawyer, as one of the other reviewers did, merely for assisting in the development of fair and well thought out defense.
