Curtis Bounds handled my child custody case so that I can maintain custody of my grandson bc I knew his mom was still not fit. Mr. Bounds is extremely calm, professional and extremely knowledgeable in family law. He has a dynamite team and they all are Grade A+. Divorce can be a highly emotionally charged situation in which anger and spite take over logical thinking. It also can be a financial nightmare as one tries to figure out whose is whose. Curtis Bounds is a rock of stability and logic with a sense of humor when appropriate. He is honorable and a man of integrity. He is respectful to others. While his focus is to find the best solution for his client, and to put his client first as the advocate he is, he takes great pains to understand the other side, as well. He does not get carried away by the emotion. He believes in finding the amicable agreement, which in the end saves his client time and money. It is not unusual for him to point out to the client the cost of an action the client might want to take. When his client needs protection, however, he also is there and knows what to do. I have great respect for Mr. Bounds. He is an outstanding member of Delaware’s legal community and I recommend him.

Mr. Bounds handled my divorce and child custody case. The child custody case was extremely complex and in fact lasted 7 years. It even involved certain state agencies. At the end the whole affair was resolved in my favor due entirely to Mr. Bounds. What is remarkable is his in-depth knowledge of the legal system, and also his ability and patience to explain it to his client (my self), who was totally ignorant of that system. Because of that, we gradually started to work as a team, which contributed greatly to the success of the case. I owe great deal of gratitude to Mr. Bounds as I see my daughter growing up showing unmistakable qualities of a future solid member of the society.
