I was facing a felony charge with potential years in prison. Patrick Collins was able to prove that the officer who arrested me had manufactured evidence to justify my initial arrest. Mr. Collins filed a motion with the court showing that the officer's material sworn statements in his report, and in his application for a search warrant contradicted the audio/video evidence from the traffic stop. Once the mendacity of the officer was brought to light in court, the Felony charge against me was dropped.

I retained Mr Collins for a traffic violation, Mr Collins was punctual, took the time to explain everything to me in simple language, stayed with me the whole time while a deal was being negotiated with the ADA, as most people I'm skeptical of lawyers but in this case I was proven wrong, I got exactly what I was hoping for, highly recommend

I hired an attorney from Mr Collin's firm, but was very disappointed. This was for a misdemeanor charge against my teen son. I never actually had any contact with Mr Collins himself, but instead dealt with an attorney in his office (Colleen Durkin) who took a $1000 retainer. After several months of waiting, emailing and leaving voice mails, it became clear that she wasn't doing much of anything for us. She told us that she made some phone calls to a police officer, and that was about it. After 4 months she called to say that she was leaving the firm and that the case could be handled by another attorney with Collins' office. Again, weeks went by with little communication or discernible action. I finally became so frustrated that I requested the return of my retainer and sought another attorney. They eventually returned the retainer.

Mr. Collins is the kind of attorney you would want on your side of the column when standing before a Judge. He is knowledgeable, kind, and answers all questions in a language most people can understand. I was glad to know I was not alone in my situation and happier with the outcome of my case.
