n June of 2016 our friend had a stroke and was in the hospital for 5 ½ months because there was no one to make decisions for her. She has no family and had no power of attorney. We wanted to help her but didn't know where to begin. Someone recommended that we contact William Erhart, Estate and Elder Law. Mr. Erhart and his associates (Cathryn and Elizabeth) walked us through the guardianship and medicaid process. As a result our friend is comfortably settled in a nursing home. We appreciate so much the work that Mr. Erhart and his associates did for us. They were professional and efficient but also warm, friendly, and approachable. There was so much that we didn't know and so much that we could never have done apart from the expertise of Mr. Erhart, Cathryn, and Elizabeth. We highly recommend them to anyone who needs the services of a very competent and helpful law firm. We extend our thanks for what they did for us.

We recently had an initial appointment with Mr Erhart which was largely a waste of our time owing to to both a lack of preparedness (none of our documents were reviewed in advance) and a "salesy" atmosphere during which Mr Erhart spent a large portion of the meeting reviewing his personal credentials. When we asked for a refund of our initial fee (citing the reasons above) we received a response letter that was written in a negative, condescending tone and even included personal insults. During my follow up telephone call with Mr. Erhart to understand the purpose of his letter, he actually hung up the telephone in the middle of our conversation instead of answering my direct and understandably difficult questions about the nature of his response. Perhaps Mr Erhart is a competent attorney; however, his bedside manner and customer orientation leave something to be desired.

Attorney Erhart addressed my needs in establishing multiple trusts. He is very knowledgeable, professional and honest. I recommended him to all my family members and friends and more than a couple retained his firm and had the same experience I have had. I recommend him to everyone who needs any legal advice in estate planning, elder law, medicaid law and pretty much any law!!

Bill has handled numerous things for me over the years, both personal and also items related to my husband's business. Most recently he has guided me through the estate planning process. I know I can always count on him for advice and guidance. I have every confidence in him and look forward to continuing our relationship for many years.
