Michael represented my daughter for felony charges as a result of a counter protest on campus. Michael listened with empathy and fought hard to get her charges reduced, preserving her future. I am a good citizen who abides by the law, I never imagined that I would run into trouble one day. Unfortunately, an accident happened, I was in trouble and I called several lawyers, someone tried to charge me a lot and never call me back. I was involved in a minor fender-bender on private property (shopping center). The police officer was intimidated by a large crowd of the other involved person's friends that were jumping around and screaming, and ended up giving me a ticket. Mr. Modica and I went to court in August, 2020, and the police officer did not show. The case was dismissed. Lo and behold, 3 months later, the police officer made a motion to reopen the case. Mr. Modica filed a motion with the court that this was illegal and would set precedent against Delaware law. A week before the 2nd trial, the judge ruled against the officer's motion to reopen. Hopefully, this is a done deal, the 2nd time around. Mr. Modica knows the Delaware law, and handled this efficiently and with a good outcome for me.

Mr. Modica was very quick to respond in my initial consultation email! After meeting with him and hearing how he would potentially handle my case, I moved forward with hiring him for my PFA hearing. He was extremely thorough in keeping me updated with everything he was doing behind the scenes with the court and doing everything to ensure the best outcome of the trial. Mr. Modica is very down to earth and seemed very respected in the courtroom. I was proud to have him by side and very satisfied with the outcome of the hearing.

I hired Mike Modica to have my probation modified from level 3 to level 1 and my attorney had the Judge dismiss my probation.
