Mr. Risk was a great attorney to say the very least, he was very knowledgeable and attentive throughout the entire process. I highly recommend him!

No one wants to be caught up in a jackpot. But if and when you do, you cannot do better than Matt Rist in a DC trial court issue. I lucked out. He happened to be there at my initial hearing on a motor vehicle operation arrest. I was clueless and suspicious when he approached me recognizing my lack of understanding of the gravity of the matter and without any representation. An educated guy, but relatively new to DC, I thought I can handle this. I was so in over my head, I did not even know. But something about him overcame my suspicion and working with him, he quickly gained my full trust. He took his time to break down everything for me. He pursued all of my legal rights to evidence (later quite important.) He did what he said he would do. He understood the nuances of the venues and maneuvered to put me in the best possible position for a favorable outcome. And he kept me informed every step of the way. Also, his pricing was fair and tiered to reflect cost tied to escalation of proceedings rather than a large up front retainer and little subsequent accountability. Regardless of the outcome, I was very pleased with my representation. It allowed me to turn over control and let whatever may be, be. Lucky for me, it was a life lesson that was not nearly as costly as it could have been. In many ways, thanks to Matt Rist.
