Mr. Koehler represented me as the petitioner in a DC CPO case, a horrific affair, 9 months of stalking, harassment, threats of violence and extortion. If I could give 10 stars I would. Mr. Koehler is that unique combination of highly knowledgeable and competent, while being incredibly personable. He handled the horrendous twists and turns of my case with such humanity, care and genuine concern for me (and the law), all the while navigating the DC legal system and the process for me with the utmost professionalism. After winning my case yesterday, I had the best night's sleep I've had in months. I slept so peacefully and soundly -- like I haven't in a very long time. And, I feel safe and secure, and intensely happy that I don't have to face the prospect of another day wondering what awful thing the stalker might do to attempt some form of contact/show his "affection"....It's been the most horrendous nightmare. My family, friends and loved ones -- and most importantly I can't thank Mr. Koehler enough for restoring to me a feeling of safety and freedom. I owe him an immense debt of gratitude. As many people often do, I realized (too late) that I may have made a mistake in handling a situation and could have potentially opened myself up to liability. I called Jamison to get a quick take on my situation. To my surprise, he picked up the phone immediately and made time to discuss. He had immediate and detailed knowledge of the ins-and-outs of my situation. He asked pointed questions and gave me some quick, understandable feedback (off the top of his head). This really put my frantic mind at ease for the moment.

I was concerned that I might be charged with a misdemeanor. I have been a nervous wreck for weeks. I put myself in the wrong place at the wrong time and did something that was ill-advised. I called Jameson to discuss the specifics. Jameson was incredibly knowledgeable about all the issues dealing with this type of case. I was accused of miscellaneous damage to property. I hired Jameson to represent me at trial - he came prepared with relevant case law for my defense and was able to read the court room dynamics well from a strategy perspective. I was extremely pleased with Jamison Koehler's work on my car accident case. He personally responded to my voicemail within a couple hours - (I didn't have to leave a message with a secretary) and he provided an initial phone consultation that was far superior to the other lawyers I spoke to that day. It was clear that he had a solid, familiarity with my type of case and the law enforcement players involved. He was able to provide valuable insight as to how these cases work on the law enforcement side and as a result, I felt most comfortable to go forward with his recommendations. His flat fee was close to what the other lawyers were charging - there were a couple that were a little cheaper but nowhere near as knowledgeable or responsive. Within a couple days, his efforts led to my case being closed at the police department with no charges filed. I would definitely recommend him to anyone involved in a traffic dispute.

Mr. Koehler represented me in a very serious case because of my lapse in good judgement. The spectre of going to jail is a terrifying thought. Mr. Koehler responded to me quickly, took swift action, guided me through the legal process, and expertly represented me so that I only got probation, and for a shorter time than was even the norm. Mr. Koehler is an excellent attorney, and also a truly nice guy who actually cares about his clients. I would recommend him to anyone struggling with legal issues, as he has a sharp legal mind and is very capable.

Mr. Jamison was my lawyer for my second DUI in less than a year and I was facing some real time behind bars. The trial expanded for a few months He filed about five to six motions on my behalf. He was phenomenal doing the cross examination. He made the prosecution's Witnesses look foolish they end up dropping all charges against me I could not have asked for a better attorney.
