I'm a lawyer myself, so I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted my attorney to do after I got hit while riding my bike. I spoke with someone from the bike law network, someone from a well-known firm, and Allyson Kitchel. The difference was night and day. Allyson understood what I wanted and explained what her strategy would be to get that result. The other two were unable to do the same -- they seemed happy to let the insurance company dictate the outcome, and they were reluctant to even consider doing the work required to make the insurance company pay a fair amount. Not only was Allyson's strategy better, she was the only one of the three that didn't use sales tactics designed to cause fear and anxiety. Allyson executed exactly the strategy we discussed up front. And she executed it well. She clearly brings significant negotiating skill and subject-matter expertise to the table. I did have some concerns in the middle to the process, but in the end the things I was concerned about didn't matter one bit. Also, she responded reasonably well when I raised my concerns. I very rarely write reviews, but I'm writing this one because I think it'd be hard for someone without a legal background to know up-front that Allyson is operating at a higher level than your typical personal injury lawyer.
