Very helpful and understanding and very attentive to their clients.

My experience was with attorney Jeannine Gomez, who represented my friend in a civil matter. I would have participated as a witness, should the case have gone to trial (more on that later). My experience with Jeannine was brief, but very professional and to the point. The main interaction was on the phone, in which she asked me several questions related to having witnessed details of my friend's case. Jeannine somehow struck a perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism; she asked all the right questions, direct and to the point, yet in an agreeable manner that very much put me at ease (and therefore helped me answer her questions better). In the process, she also shared some insights into what kinds of details a judge would care about in my friend's case, which was very informative. Once our conversation ended, I knew my friend was in good legal hands. As for my friend, the whole situation had been stressful, but they were able to be much more relaxed once they interacted with Jeannine and realized that they were represented by a very good lawyer. On the appointed court date, Jeannine showed up early and with a smile, simultaneously going over important logistics while engaging in social conversation, which definitely helped lower the stress levels all around! She was confident that the case would go my friend's way. Which it did. (It ended up not going to trial, as the negotiations were favorable to my friend). I was very pleased with the overall experience, and should I ever need legal counsel in this domain, I'll certainly reach out to the Capital Family Law Group (ideally, Jeannine!).

Jeannine Gomez is an incredibly caring, competent, and dedicated attorney. We served many of the same clients (myself as a counselor), so I saw first hand how tireless she is in her work with her clients. This has to be the most honest review I’ve ever written and words can never do this wonderful woman justice. Jeannine was my attorney through the most traumatizing phase in my life. Separation and divorce are very taxing! They wear the parties involved out emotionally, physically and financially and finding an attorney who offered me very personalized attention, addressed all my concerns with utmost patience and intelligence during those ugly times had a very positive impact on my case...it changed my life. I remember my very first phone call with Jeannine and how she and Elsa, her-then office paralegal, received me with a broad smile during the intake. Throughout a very lengthy and complicated case I never felt rushed or treated as less than a good friend. Her small and bright space at the time felt like the safest place a broke and heartbroken woman could ask for. You’ll immediately notice how wildly respected Jeannine is by other lawyers, paralegals, law students, judges and court clerk. In my opinion, these sets of skills are the most valuable assets a divorce lawyer can have. Upon being successful in what we wanted to achieve; it was almost as if I had made a friend with lots of legal knowledge. I hope it is never necessary, but I wouldn’t think twice to hire Jeannine again if circumstances warrant it and she’s willing to be subjected to my drama one more time. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a family lawyer! I really can't say enough good things about Jeannine Gomez … If you are in need for a great lawyer, look no more.
