I highly recommend April Coskerham, she has been the prayer to our answers after going through several other lawyers and countless money spend with false or no hope at all. I hired Dave because i was charged with a serious Gun charge. DC is very strict with guns, while usually in Virginia having a shotgun in your vehicle is no big deal. My son was facing a drug charge, and we wanted the absolute best representation for him. We went on the internet and looked for someone who was local and was working often with the court system in DC, and Dave’s address was near the court house so we reached out for a consultation. My wife, son and I met with Dave about my son’s case. He treated our son as an adult. Dave was there to represent him but also to help him make good life choices. Dave made it clear that he would take care of him. The frustrating thing about the case was how long the case took…. To no fault of Dave, my son’s case was linked to a bigger case and our court appearances where very strung out to keep up with the other case. Dave made it clear that this was going to take some time, but he would keep up us up to date with every step in the case. During this time, we were never feeling in the dark. Dave kept us up to date, and would respond to us that day or the next. We were never kept waiting wondering “why didn’t you come back to us”. From the time when we first went to court it was very clear that Dave knew everyone in court and they knew and respected him. That included the judges, prosecutors, and even the court clerks. Each time Dave proposed something to the prosecutors they agreed. There is much comfort in knowing that Dave knows how the system works, and that he would get it sorted out. In my son’s case Dave got the charges expunged. There was even a time when my son could not complete his community service due to an accident, and Dave sorted that out with the court so it would have no repercussions. I also wanted to note that Dave was really considerate about the funding of the case. There is no doubt that Dave put in more time than what was covered by the retainer fee, but never charged us for it.

I had a great experience at Price Benowitz. My husband and I where driving home, and about one mile from the house we got rear ended. We where stopped at a red light, and the driver behind us hit us going 45 mph. It was really bad, and we immediately rushed to the hospital. My knee hit the dashboard, and it was dislocated. I couldn't feel my neck at all, and the pain was excruciating. I had to go through aquatic therapy and regular physical therapy. I had to miss about 2-3 months of work...
