Mr. England was the light in my life ever since I hired him over a year ago. Without hesitation he accepted to advocate for me in a complicated child custody case involving a high conflict person. Besides custody he defended me successfully multiple times against fabricated allegations of violence and child neglect. In my heart and mind this man is a brilliant attorney. Mr. England has a vast experience and a sharp insight of every legal situation. He is able to react swiftly to potential ‘curve balls’ in the courtroom. As an attorney he is knowledgeable and patient but energetic and aggressive when needed. Mr. England never tried to convince me to settle out of court and got 100% of what I wanted in the courtroom. More importantly, he listened to me on a daily basis and knew every detail about me and my situation. He is a compassionate and emphatic person. I strongly recommend him to anybody having to deal with divorce, custody or allegations of domestic violence.

I was involved in an unfortunate situation that led me to have to research lawyers for a legal situation. I came across Sheridan's profile along with a couple of other lawyers in the area and decided to send some messages out through yelp and goggle. To my surprise, Sheridan was the only message that I received personally from him and was not an automated message (on a Sunday by the way). From the start, Sheridan explained a couple of scenarios that I could possibly be facing and what my best course of action would be. At no point during our conversation did he pressure me to hire him as my representation, but simply shared his knowledge of how a case like mine would proceed. I met with Sheridan that weekend to get a further consultation and to give him more intimate details of my situation. Based on his background as prosecutor, I felt that I was in good hands. Throughout the process, Sheridan kept me up to date on what to expect and really kept me calm throughout. Yesterday my case concluded and the Judge said "We don't normally see deals this good in the District". Sheridan was able to get me the best deal that the District of Columbia could legally offer. I was more than impressed with Sheridan's professionalism, communication, follow up, and most importantly RESULTS.
