Eric Siegel is an excellent choice for anyone in need of employment-related representation. He is an incredibly competent lawyer with sound judgment. He is reliable and a consummate professional. And he is a nice and good human being to boot. During our first interaction it was clear Eric had read and digested the material I had sent him regarding my need for representation. He focused almost immediately on the potential weaknesses of my case, which as a lawyer myself I appreciated. He educated me about the steps ahead and appropriately managed my expectations. But perhaps most impressively, he advised against my hiring him on a contingency basis, at least to begin with, asserting it could well benefit me in the end. Together Eric and I were able to present and settle my claim in one month's time, and because I paid him by the hour, the lion's share of the settlement will stay with me. Their team, specifically Carolyn Killea, helped me obtain O-1 non-immigrant status from USCIS. Carolyn has outstanding expertise and knows what USCIS is looking for in a petition, beyond the mere public criteria. Her strategies are exceptionally effective and she issues clear instructions for what clients must do to be successful. Additionally, she is a very courteous and enjoyable person with whom to work. The level of neglect and reluctance towards clients is unreal! I signed a retainer about 8 years ago and paid the fees in full in advance and then my case was jumping between different attorneys as others leave the firm and they didn’t let me know unless I chased them with calls and emails! Just recently I have been emailing them for 2 months with no response to get a copy of my documents.
