My experience with working with Attorney Leah Durant and Ashley has been such a positive one. There were some very challenging times throughout my vaccine injury case, where at times there seemed I would not be awarded any compensation for my injury, but with Attorney Durant’s hard work and determination, she proved that I should be entitled compensation and with that, the reward was great and I am very thankful and grateful! After being injured from a flu injection, I thought that I couldn't be the only person who has had this happen to them. In researching, I found that Leah actually had the same injury. Because she understood what I was going through, I never felt that my injury was trivialized. She truly is a wonderful attorney who works diligently to obtain the best possible outcomes for her clients. Her staff was excellent as well.

It was high praise from other clients which attracted me to seek Ms. Durant's representation. After nearly three months of repeated client initiated contact to get my case filed dating back to 1.5 years of suffering with not one, but two SIRVA reactions, I was told I would need another 6 mos of medical records before my case would be filed despite a clear history of suffering and supporting clinical findings by both PCP and Neurologist confirming my acute, severe, disabling influenza-induced Parsonage-Turner syndrome. I ended up wasting several months of no progress, poor communication and unacceptable conveyance of more delays. What could another 6 mos possibly confirm to the Vaccine Court that 1.5 years has not already demonstrated? Makes no sense. I hope this review will be a "call to action" for her firm to better serve suffering, deserving clients. Best wishes to anyone suffering with a debilitating SIRVA reaction. More than a month went by with no contact from the firm to discuss my case and when contact was made, it was a result of client initiation...let's see how long it takes the busy firm to respond to this factual review.
