Buena experiencia, y atención extraordinaria…

Summary: I was an interpreter that was hired by Law Offices of Marvin Liss. Unfortunately, he refused to pay the agreed upon amount and tried to force me to only accept 50% of the agreed upon fee after he used my services. Contracting for 10:00am services then changed to 11:00am. Did not communicate that they were not going to be ontime or for me to wait until I hear from them or anything. They show up at 12:10pm. I log in and start interpreting 10-15 mins later.His firm used my services and i have no doubt the service was excellent. He does not say he wont honor the agreement then. But when I sent in my invoice, he thinks he should only pay me 2 hours. When essentially his firm had used up over 4.5 hours of my time. If you need details keep reading I regret having to write this. I was an interpreter who was hired to work on a deposition for one of the firm's clients. According to the agreement, I was charging them at 75/hour with 4 hours minimum. I was hired to start work by 10:00 a.m. but the time was later changed to 11:00 a.m. I logged in at 11:00 a.m. and waited, but received no response after calling the contact number and sending an email. After waiting for over an hour with no communication, I assumed they were a no-show. I finally received an email two hours and ten minutes after the original scheduled time, and one hour and ten minutes after the revised 11:00 a.m. start time. I logged in and began interpreting within 10-15 minutes of receiving the email. The assignment concluded around 2:30 p.m., resulting in over 4.5 hours since the original agreed-upon time. I billed for 4 hours, which is the minimum for these services. However, Mr. Liss felt he should only pay 50% of the agreed upon amount because it took me 10-15 to log in when they were ready. Ms Liss recommended me to go to physical therapy and waited all this time just to tell me, she cancelled my case. If you African I don’t recommend her.
