Easy to work with, the only thing is you have to claim THEIR portion of settlements as earnings,which we have never had to do with anyone else on any class action settlements. So if you go through with this firm, plan on adding 40% plus to the total you actually receive. Makes no sense if we over paid in first place ( and paid tax on it) that we would have to pay taxes again on it. plus the lawyers taxes??? Who else is in agreement with me?.And yes we do note that it's a govt thing, but why add the 40% to the total? Does it vary by state?
