My wife died after outpatient spinal surgery that was supposed to only last an hour or two and then she would go home. Instead, a major blood vessel was cut, and my wife was sent to the ICU with uncontrollable bleeding. After every unit of blood in the hospital was used up, she died 24 hours after the surgery. I called a number of D.C. medical malpractice law firms. I talked to Dr. Michael Wilson and he was knowledgeable about spinal surgery. I saw him the next day and decided to hire him to investigate.
