I hired Amanda to represent me in my divorce based on the reviews here, but I unfortunately did not have the same experience as others. I often felt as if my case was on the back burner possibly bc no children were involved. I often had little to no understanding of what was going on bc it was not being explained to me unless I reached out, which cost me so much more in fees. On the positive side I will say Amanda is very intelligent and was always responsive when I did reach out with any concerns. But unfortunately certain issues continued up until the very end. For example- my married name was still being used on documents, letters, and emails even though I went through all of the steps to change it and directly asked for them to use my now legal name more than once. Might seem silly to some but to me it was a disrespect to me getting my cultural identity back.

Amanda is literally the best family lawyer that I have met. She has been my lawyer for years on and off and always puts her clients first. I feel fortunate that I found her and she has been there since day one and answered every single question I have had and fought for my what was best for my son. I have little to no actual understanding of the legal system... which I think is, unfortunately, pretty standard for most folks. I know even less than that about family law. I had no idea what the future held regarding my beautiful little girl and was very, very scared.
I will always be thankful for the service, knowledge, professionalism and utter kindness that Amanda and her staff supplied. I have guaranteed time with my daughter only because of her and her and the professionals she has surrounded herself with. The time can't be taken away at a whim. Can't be altered because the weather changed.
Amanda helped me understand my options, never pressured me, and always respected what I wanted. She always ensured that I was as comfortable as I could be with the legal proceedings. I honestly can't think of anything she could have improved upon.
I can honestly say that my life and the life of my kiddo are categorically, significantly better for having worked with Amanda. I can not recommend her services enough.

I called to reschedule that appointment 10 days ago and have yet to hear from anyone. I'm moving on, if I can't get a call back trying to become a client, what happens after I am a client. My money must not be good enough.

From the beginning, Nicole was very respectful to the defendant and to our whole family. She listened attentively as the defendant recounted what had happened on the day of the car accident. She put us at ease by explaining in a very down to earth manner, each step in the legal process and what we could expect in the months ahead. She gave us her email and said that if any of us had questions along the way, we could email her. Whenever we emailed her, she responded in a timely manner. On the day of the pre-trial hearing, she explained all that would happen in the court room and gave clear instructions to the defendant. I think that helped put us all at ease. Nicole advocated on behalf of the defendant and was able to get the charge reduced. We are very grateful for her thoroughness, her professionalism, and the way she cared about us.

I don’t usually write reviews but if this helps one person I will be happy. I tried debt consolidation for 6 months and was getting collection calls and letters daily. I decided to look into bankruptcy and tried a different law firm first and the man missed my appt after they had already rescheduled once. I was frustrated so I went online and found Tim Theisen and gave him a call. After our first meeting, I felt so comfortable with him and felt better about my future. He answered all my questions and laid out everything he would need, what would happen during the process and how long it would take. He is just an all around nice guy and Amy at the office is amazing too. He sticks with you til the end. I can’t thank them enough! PS. They didn’t have any hidden fees either or anything that put up a red flag.

I had worked with another attorney before coming to see Tim. The other attorney was very aggressive and rude. I mostly talked to some one in his office and not the attorney himself. I got very little information and resistance to asking questions. It took a long time and was never completed. I left that office and was referred to Tim by a friend.
The difference was like night and day. He spent time explaining things to me in great detail.
I met with him directly and he answered all my questions. He was patient and kind.
He was not judgmental and was sensitive to my
situation.
I needed to keep my car for work and he was able to do that. My job requires that I have a car.
The stress had been overwhelming. My problems started with health issues and I needed to reduce my hours at work.
My case was processed faster than I expected. Once it was done, I felt like I could breath again. A huge weight had been lifted. Now I can begin working on resolving my health issues. Making the decision to file was a hard decision, but Tim made it easier. He is efficient, thorough, knowledgeable and supportive.

Awesome experience from beginning to end. I had an intimidating amount of IRS debt, and no idea how to handle it. The thought of taking on the IRS by myself gave me anxiety. I had spoken with a few “settle your tax debt for pennies on the dollar” people, and not only were they extremely expensive, I felt like they were over promising and being unrealistic (Aka pay us $4k and the IRS will accept a settlement of $250 even though you own property with equity - not realistic). Tim walked me through the entire process, and was confident and knowledgeable, and told me exactly not only what filing chapter 7 could do for my situation - but what it couldn’t do. I appreciated the honesty, and would refer him and his assistant, Amy, to anyone thinking about filing for bankruptcy.

The phone call all parents dread, your son is in the hospital from a car accident. A good friend recommended Mark to us and he was great. He handled all the ins. nightmare and when they didn't respond in a timely manor he filed paperwork against them and he was tough. He got my son a great settlement and we were able to hold it until he was 25 yrs old. so he didn't blow in his young age. I would and have recommended Mark to other friends. We always felt like he had our son's best interest in mind. and was always available to answer any questions we had. He is a great attorney. Still feel like I could call him for legal advise today 12 yrs after our case.

Mark hung in there until the end for us during our trial. He was fighting a large insurance company that didn't want to pay our claim to us. He had plenty of research on my husband's neck condition and previous Nerva Ablation treatments. The treatments were kind of new at the time, but are now commonly used. We always felt we were supported by Mark. We never felt unable to ask any question. Mark has a calm demeanor, but wasn't afraid to ask hard questions of the insurance company when they were on the stand. He never backed down. We felt completely supported throughout the whole trial. We would highly recommend him!

If anybody that is reading this is wondering who to chose for a defense lawyer i can tell you first hand i never felt so down and out when i got pulled over for a DWI and didn't know who to turn to and i had heard MR.ORWIG was the best at what he does so i called MR.ORWIG the next day after my DWI and it was a sat he came in and met up with him and he never guaranteed a win but told me he would try his best so i had a feeling of honesty so i went ahead and hired him immediately.I got pulled over in march of 2010 and the case was fully dismissed by October.The defense he came up with was unbelievable but it worked.

A while back I was not in a good place financially and I called over 10 different attorneys and left a message explaining the situation I was in, that I desperately needed an attorney, and that I could not afford to pay for one. Of all the attorney's I called Joe Field was the only one that called back that was willing to represent me for free because he wanted to help me out. He saved me thousands of dollars and he did everything he could to help me figure out my child custody case. He is one of the most generous and caring people I have ever met in my life. In July of 2022 I was wrongly accused. Mike and his team were awesome in explaining the process and, most importantly, executed a strategy that proved the police overembellished their position. Further, his team put together their findings and documents showing that the prosecutor's case would fail, resulting in the County Attorney dismissing the case, all without ever having to step foot in a courtroom. I would not recommend the attorney Bob Howard to represent you. He was the most dishonest attorney I ever had to represent us. Gave us false information in a third party custody case. He misrepresented the case to us, but charged us an astronomical amount for doing nothing. After wasting two years on the case and giving us false information . He told us that both parents had to agree on legal custody or adoption. Which was false information they just had to be served that the grandparents were filing for legal custody. My husband and I ended up representing ourselves in court with the help form the attorney at the Anoka county law library. That is how we found out that Bob Howard lied to us just to get our money!

Robert helped me out during a very difficult time in my life. I was going through a divorce, and he was very professional, compassionate and did not needlessly string things out in an effort to take advantage financially. Many attorneys get a bad rap for doing shady work and wanting to "stick it" to the other party. Robert does not work in that way. He stayed focused on what I needed and wanted and got the job done.
