I was rear ended very badly one night on my way home and the injuries that I sustained from this accident changed my body in ways that are permanent. I had a prior experience in a bodily injury claim in the early 2000s so I was a bit familiar with the process, but this experience was next level for me. Mr. Bergman and his team were wonderful in their referrals for the medical help that I desperately needed. Being that I am an older man now, my body does not bounce back as quickly as it did 20 years ago. The person that hit me had a minimum policy and my injuries were greater than that. Thankfully, I have a better policy with my own insurance, and Mr. Bergman was able to get all the money available in both policies to compensate me for my injuries, pain and suffering. I am very confident in Mr. Bergman’s skills in getting the job done and I am very appreciative to him for such wonderful results in my case. I would highly recommend to him to anyone that has been in an accident. Mr. Bergman and his team were always very responsive to my questions and had great communication with me throughout my process and even took my calls outside of business hours. Thank you!

I was in bad MVA where I was hit in an intersection for someone running a red light. The accident changed my life because it caused me to need surgery on my knee and I have never had any issues with my knee. Unfortunately, the policy limit of this person was not enough to cover my surgery so Mr. Bergman recommended me take the policy limit available and get surgery when I have health insurance so it’s not coming out of my pocket or settlement for pain and suffering. Thankfully, Mr. Bergman, with his aggressive attitude and fierce poker face got the insurance company to fold and hand over the entire policy and I am walking away with more than half of the settlement that was given. I am very grateful to Mr. Bergman and his team for getting me all the money on the table and resolving my case in under a years time. They told me cases can take a year or longer but he got mine done in 8 months due to my damages. I highly recommend Mr. Bergman and his team, they are fantastic

I chose this law firm (specifically Adam Moskowitz) based on a referral from my Financial Advisor at Charles Schwab. From my initial telephone conversation with Adam, I felt relaxed, very comfortable, and certain that I had made the right decision. I needed Adam and his team to put together a comprehensive Estate Plan for me...which would include my Will, a Revocable Trust Agreement, an Advance Medical Directive, and Power of Attorney. I also needed advice and guidance on a few other matters relating to my 'estate'. Once all of the documents were drawn up, I physically met with Adam and his team. Adam was extremely patient, listened to all of my concerns, and explained everything in 'basic' terms....taking as much time as I needed to review and understand the entire process and all of the legal documents that I was signing. It was a pleasure meeting Mr Lastra. During my consultation, it was obvious that his knowledge was extensive and he helped me determine the best course of action in my upcoming separation and custody case. Not only did he provide ample time to describe what my ideal outcome could be, he allowed me time to ask any questions I had and provided a strategic course of action. I had a two hour consultation with Mr. Lastra concerning my pending divorce and custody matter.
I have multiple children with my spouse, including a stepchild from their previous marriage whose life I've been a part of since they were very little. Shortly into our meeting, Mr. Lastra asked me about my children and whether our relationship was biological, and then explained very compassionately that - unfortunately - if it were contested by either or both of their biological parents, he would not be able to guarantee me custody of or access to my stepchild as a de facto parent. He assured me that if he were representing me and I truly did want to pursue it against all odds that he would do everything in his power to help, but cautioned that it would likely be a long and costly uphill battle with an uncertain outcome.
As heartbreaking as that was to hear, Mr. Lastra was the first lawyer to really prioritize and ask about my concerns for the children rather than choose to focus on my spouse and our finances and marital property. His honesty about that - the one outcome I care most about - gave me peace of mind that he wasn't just telling me what I want to hear to get me to sign his retainer.
Additionally, while his consultation was not free, without my even having to ask, Mr. Lastra was extremely considerate of my budget. At the very beginning of the meeting, he verified the hourly rate that I had been quoted previously and told me how long his consultations with other people typically lasted. Then, every twenty minutes or so, he was kind enough to let me know how much billable time had elapsed and allowed me to set the pace of our discussion accordingly.
Throughout the rest of our meeting, Mr. Lastra was both extremely inquisitive and educational. Rather than simply listen to my account of events, he engaged frequently, asking regular questions and taking notes. He also shared a wealth of his own knowledge, pulling from both general law and process as well as experiences gained from similar cases he'd handled in the past. During our consultation, I felt both well listened to and that I was speaking with an obvious expert.
Prior to our meeting, I had discussed this matter with a few other lawyers, and while they were all quite professional and empathetic, none of them felt like they were being as realistic with me about the possible timelines, outcomes, costs, and the availability of themselves and their associates to adequately represent me and my family's interests as Mr. Lastra did. Though his rates are above average, my first impression from my consultation is that there is very good justification for it. He has absolutely earned my endorsement.

I was served a deposition subpoena to testify in a family dispute in which I had avoided becoming involved two weeks before trial. Another lawyer referred me to Rick to advise and represent me at the deposition. Although the trial attorney wouldn’t cancel the deposition, Rick bargained to limit the deposition to only two hours and defended me capably during the deposition. I hope never to need an attorney again for this reason, but would be glad to hire Rick again or recommend him to friends.

Attorney Redmond did an excellent job in my case winning a contempt of court petition on my ex who willfully withheld my access to our child and made my child and me go through intense anguish. Unfortunately my Mother passed away without having a Will or any of her Estate affairs in order. Prior to my mothers passing I had never handled an Estate before. I contacted a few attorneys but didn't feel they were the right fit for all of the complications pertaining to the Estate. Some attorney's weren't even willing to take it on. A neighbor of mine (who is an attorney) suggested that I contact Mr. Andre McDonald to handle my Mothers Estate. After our initial phone consultation, I knew immediately that he was the the right fit for all that needed to be accomplished. It was around the holidays. Mr. McDonald went above and beyond the typical duties that involve getting an Estate opened. He stayed involved and was on top of every aspect regarding the Estate throughout the entire process. He followed through with getting the Estate closed in a timely fashion. Mr. McDonald was very professional and knew exactly what to do and how to handle the Estate. He was always informative and reliable. Mr. McDonald always personally returned my phone calls and my emails in a timely manner. I recommend Sandra to anyone who needs help with immigration. She was very helpful adjusting my wife's status in court and getting her a green card. Before that she also obtained a waiver for my wife's two year home residency requirement. During the long and complicated case she was always very thorough in preparing the case documents and was compassionate. She is very professional. I found David Briglia via Google search specifically looking for a lawyer specializing in physician employment contracts. Having already utilized a different professional to handle negotiations regarding compensation, I needed a lawyer to handle the legal nuances of the agreement.
Mr. Briglia was excellent in all respects and exceeded my expectations. He was responsive, accessible, and flexible. The costs of his services were all laid out clearly and very fair. He was clear in his communications with careful attention to detail and precision which I found highly reassuring coming from someone who was expected to evaluate contracts with a fine tooth comb. Based on our arrangement, Mr. Briglia also was able to interact with my future employer's counsel to prevent any miscommunication and expedite the process. His interactions with them, as with me, were all highly professional and non-confrontational in tone.
Even though most of the negotiations were complete by the time I worked with Mr. Briglia, he was still able to negotiate some other aspects of the agreement in my favor. He patched up any leaks in the contract wording to protect me from potential hassles in the future.
In summary, the highlights of working with Mr. Briglia were his attention to detail, prompt responsiveness, and perhaps most importantly, his ability to give me confidence that his counsel led to a highly satisfactory result.
