After close to 4 years in family court and being robbed blindly for 15k by a lawyer who appeared once in court and missed two appearances I can truly say I found a lawyer who will truly represent your best interest. I've witness horrible advice and horrible results by lawyers who don't care about anything but their pay. Michael did and fought for what I asked and truly shined in court making both the opposing lawyer and the Child support lead lawyers look like fools and liars which is what they are.

I was a part of a tenant’s association that needed to negotiate the sale of our apartment building, and Andrew was so effective at guiding us through the process. He was extremely responsive and transparent, and negotiated a contract that was more than satisfactory for all of the tenants in the association. We just received our final payment, and Andrew was the reason we were able to have a stress-free move out of our building. I would not think twice about recommending him to anyone in need of an attorney, and especially for anything involving DC tenant’s rights. Thank you Andrew!

I've worked with a number of attorneys and professional service firms but, Andrew Kirtley sits right at the top. He is very knowledgeable in the area of tenant representation and demonstrates a killer mindset for serving the client. I wish all of my interactions with attorneys were this good. I first met with Andrew on a Friday afternoon and left our meeting feeling absolutely great going into the weekend. I was impressed with his advice and felt confident in our plan of action. Andrew did a great job understanding and giving guidance during the initial consultation. After I hired him, he quickly and efficiently worked with the other side to get a fair settlement. The whole way he was quick to respond to questions from me, thorough in explaining my rights and obligations, and helped me keep a level head. Samer Danfoura and his team provided superb support to me after I hired him during a complex, dynamic real estate case. Samer offered responsive, thoughtful, compassionate, and prudent advice during the many meetings required by the situation. I felt comfortable working with him because he listened carefully to my concerns and tried to address them even when he had alternative legal strategies in mind. I never felt compelled to follow a recommendation I was uncomfortable with.
As the pace of our legal preparations accelerated, Samer and his team put in extra time to support me, even working during weekends. When the managing partner at the company where I was also a partner decided he had found a pretext to oust me from the partnership and deny me my fair share of the previous year's profits, Monica was the first person I thought of to call. She was thorough in asking all the right questions and was very thoughtful in highlighting what the costs of litigation might be at every step of the way. Having read the partnership agreement, she determined the managing partner had no legal justification for what he was doing. She was also crystal clear on the next steps I had to take - essentially business as usual and ignore the managing partner's threats. It felt counter-intuitive at the time, but she was absolutely right. Then, during the settlement negotiations, I felt safe and with her counsel I stuck to my guns and walked away with an excellent pay off.

I first consulted Scott Hartley in October 2010. My wife and I wanted to review and revise our Wills, and also a Family Trust that we had established many years previously. Also, we needed to do a Durable Power of Attorney, and Advance Health Care Directive. It was apparent immediately that Scott Hartley had broad expertise in all these areas. He listened carefully to what we said, and asked critical questions in order to understand our wishes and needs. He did a first rate job in setting up all the documents for us and taking us through them so that we understood what they meant. We have recently needed to meet with Scott again to re-visit the documents drawn up in 2010, and seek his advice regarding some changes that we had in mind. Again, the whole experience has been very positive. He listened, and asked the right questions to make sure he understood what our concerns were. then, he told us in clear language what the options were, and the consequences of each option from a legal standpoint.
Scott is thoughtful, and clearly an expert in his profession. I have a great deal of confidence in him, and I am delighted that he is our lawyer.

I have been searching for a constuction lawyer to help me out with a Mechanic's lien. I talked to several Lawyers and most were dissmisive when they found out they can't make money from my case and hung up. Last October I used Mr. Hibbard's services after my dog was involved in a fight with another dog. Within a few days, I received a threatening letter from the dog owner's attorney saying that if I didn't give them a large sum of money immediately, they would take further legal action and have my dog impounded.
Mr. Hibbard reviewed the letter and knew immediately that I was a victim of extortion. He reassured me their demands were unethical and I had nothing to worry about. After receiving Mr. Hibbard's response to the letter, the other attorney called and said the matter was completely dropped. I am very grateful to Mr. Hibbard for his services.
