Farhad was meticulous in the long and tedious process of submitting an I-130 petition for alien relative and subsequent I-601 religious and moral waiver which were both approved. He was prompt in submitting documents to the USCIS and NVC. Farhad and Elizabeth helped us with the paperwork, prepare for our interview and answered any questions they could. Elizabeth was also wonderful to work with. Overall, we are happy with their work and are glad that my spouse finally made it to the US.

I was initially a client of Robert Heydorn. Robert brought Chris on board to help with my case and take care of me. He did just that. He took care of me. After Roberts passing, Chris's workload became enormous as one can imagine. Even amongst all that turmoil of having to take over more of a load, Chris never skipped a beat with me and continued to have my back up to the end of my chapter 13.

I used Chris for my bankruptcy I went to him last minute thinking I was hopeless and about to be homeless he is cool as a cucumber I was stressed beyond belief and he worked on a Sunday to get my case taken care of I don't know of anyone who will work harder for you that is the straight truth not just a great lawyer but an all around great guy. My Grandmother had a workplace accident. After calling around to multiple large firms we decided to use Eshelman Legal Group. Jason took the time to meet with my Grandmother personally and listen to her story. We didn't get the same treatment, on the phone or in person, with the other large N.E. Ohio firms. He and his team did a great job of communicating throughout the process, including what to expect. I hired Justin due to a case with a school district due to the way they were treating my daughter with a disability. Justin and the team are doing an amazing job with the case. They are fighting to get her the education she deserves in the setting she deserves them in. We have been dealing with the school issues for sometime now and it has just gone to far and over my head & my parent advocates head; we had no other choice but to get an attorney involved. We still have a few more hurdles to climb but I am confident we are going to have a great outcome. I would hire Justin again in a heartbeat and recommend him to others that are having struggles with the school and getting the education your child deserves.

I consulted and retained Mr. Barnhart thru a referral. He was very prompt, thorough, considerate, knowledgeable, and available. I had reservations upon being in a situation where I needed a lawyer but this experience was simple and pleasurable. My Barnhart is personable with enough compassion and sense of humor to put me at ease. Costs were less than I had feared and I believe Mr. Barnhart did his best to keep them at a minimum. I contacted Ms. Shartle to represent my wants, needs and concerns in a custody case in which I cannot have legal custody. The mother of my daughter passed away and my daughter was placed in the temporary custody of a family member who did not know my daughter. My sister stepped in and filed for custody to keep my daughter in my family. While Ms. Shartle did not represent my sister, she went out of her way to make sure she understood all of the nuances of the case law and what was able to be done to support my sister getting custody. She took the time to get to know my family and what we would like to see as the outcome. Even when I felt hope was lost and there was no way that anything could change, Ms. Shartle's compassion and care seemed to never waiver. She continued to find what she could file to express my desires in the fate of my daughter. After so many months of filings, status hearings and a DNA test proving I was the father, all of Ms. Shartle's hard work payed off. I received a call from the temporary custodian that she wanted to transfer my daughter into my sister's custody. It seemed as if she could no longer deal with the pressure and persistence from my attorney's determination to see this through. I cannot begin to explain how grateful I am for attorneys like Ms. Shartle who, to be honest, are a dying breed. She is not the in your face type of attorney. Ms. Shartle is the one who looks for the actual problems and does her best to understand and solve them.

When I was arrested for felon in possession of ammunition and charged federally me not my family knew what to do. This was all very new to all of us. I was given George's name by a friend an man was it a life saver. I still ended up doing 21 months but that's because of my past criminal history. He was able to get two felonies knocked off my my criminal history which took away points for sentencing since everything federal is on a point system. Hank came to see me every two weeks even if there wasn't anything new to tell me he just wanted to see how I was and where my head was at. He is an AMAZING attorney and now I can call him a friend! George will return your calls, but he never has anything together. Just walk into his office- that’ll explain where he’s at in his mind. It’s a complete disaster. He was supposed to find out several things pertaining my case & he failed. For one- my vehicle was immobilized & was supposed to be for only 45days. I asked him specifically about having that taking off & he was supposed to check into it. He didn’t. Instead, he gave me some rant about “ohhh it’s the Ohio law, it has to be on for 90days!” WRONG! Judge couldn’t believe I was still paying for a club on my vehicle & that I had gone an extra month with that on! For 2- He is not a “voice”- in fact they call him “whispering George.” He talks about other peoples situations (very unprofessional) rather than yours- giving example after example. He does poorly with doing what he says he’s going to do. I was referred to him from a good friend that used him many years ago. He may have been good back then but this man needs to retire because it’s obvious he’s tired at what he does. Lastly, he was my ride to & from court. I was ordered to the probation department to get that going & was told it may take up to a half hour. George claims his “daughter has an emergency” & hands me money for an Uber! Here I am, almost an hour away from home, in another county wondering when I can get picked up & taken home! The bailiff of the court room couldn’t even believe what he witnessed. The crazy part to all of this is that I hired this guy & paid him $2500 in FULL! This is the worst guy to waste your money on- I promise!

He's very professional and is a very real person with extensive knowledge in his profession and knows the ins and outs of the many courts in his surrounding area. I hired him in Portage and he got me a good deal and minimized any worry I had. When a friend of mine got in trouble I messaged Jordan and asked him if he took cases in Lake county, OH as well which he informed me he did. I can’t believe this guy calls himself a lawyer!!!! I had my 7 day old baby, and 3 year old taken from me by a completely bogus ex-parte order. Obviously as you can imagine I was absolutely devastated, and in complete shock. To this day I KNOW I would have got my kids back the MINUTE my drug tests (including a $400 HAIR TEST) came back NEGATIVE. Mind you that Mr. Knabb told me to go, and pay for out of pocket knowing my financial circumstances, when later I found out other places commonly did them for under $200. He treated me like a paycheck, refused to speak to me on the phone (ONLY through text messages?!?) in which he berated me, for trying to be an advocate for myself with research on what more we could do!!!!?!? This was a BF infant!!! The 3 yr old I raised almost completely on my own, BF for 2 years, and had proof that “daddy” was never around. Jordan would say, “I’m the lawyer not you, if you don’t like how I do things find a new one.” This was AFTER he’d been paid mind you. Everything my ex alleged against me, was absolutely false, made up, and proven wrong!!!! So why did it take 3 months to get my kids back, and he backed me into a corner to settle when in my heart KNEW he had absolutely nothing on me????? Mr. Knabb said that I would have to pay him more, and that I would still probably lose my children. What kind of lawyer is this?!?! I was horrified not only at him, but by the whole entire court system because since COVID was rampant, no judge wanted to conduct any hearings, therefore I got magistrates who gave me SUPERVISED VISITATIONS by the man who abused me for years, and then turned around and took my brand new baby from me. He never took care of those children because his mommy did. We had CPS completely on our side, proof I was negative for any alcohol or drugs (that my ex alleged I was on) going back SIX months. A slew of people who have known me, and my children for years, and were begging to be put on the stand because of how outraged they were, that and I don’t want in my ex get away with all of this but that my lawyer was not only verbally abusive towards me but also could care less about my case and did nothing to help me along the way except for a ruin my chances of retaining full custody of those children. I have 3 other children, one who was 18 at the time, so they were traumatized by all of this as well!!! So now I’m stuck with shared custody, with my ex who is a sociopath, and hands the kids to his mom on his time to this day. If Jordan wants to say these things are false, I have every text message he ever sent me to prove that what I’m saying is the truth. I missed my newborn baby’s first 3 months of his life, and traumatized all the children along with me, and got away with it ALL!!!!!! Knabb is righteous, full of himself, and obviously knows nothing about custody or family law. He had me sign my life away knowing that my stepdad knew nothing about him, but what some old neighbors said, and I was mourning the loss of my children and couldn’t function enough to find and research my own lawyer. Besides CPS my lawyer, my ex, and the system completely failed me and my innocent children. So buyers BEWARE.

Mr. Armstrong represented me in a juvenile court case in 2012. He offered a Shared Parenting Plan when I did not think it was the best decision for my circumstance and he uses "scare strategies" when not in agreement with him. Three years later, the shared parenting is being cancelled.
I wasted over 2-3 grand.
He should listen to his clients more and stop talking about himself so much.

I hired this guy and it was like he was on my ex wifes legal team, like l hired an attorney for her, he continuously told me thats just how it goes instead of actually fighting for a different resolve.The whole time he was argumentative and didn't explain any situation with any clarity and couldn't remember the things that happened between court dates . He wouldn't do anything unless l pushed him to .And l wouldn't here from him until a day before the court dates .I ultimately fired him .
