Nick Rowley is one of the most sensitive and caring Attorneys I’ve ever met. He tried a case for me unexpectedly, literally one hour before start of trial due to a medical emergency with my previous attorney. I met him for the first time that morning upon arrival to court and I was extremely nervous and totally unaware of his reputation as one of the best trial lawyers in the country. Nick quickly made me feel comfortable and less nervous during the trial. After reviewing the basic facts of my case within the hour he began his compelling opening statement. I was so impressed with his demeanor, compassion and concern for my case which was a smaller one than he’s known for handling. So due to his expertise in winning favorable jury verdicts I was compensated very well for a traumatic slip and fall accident. I will always be thankful to Nick Rowley for stepping in at the last hour & taking on the challenge of my case against many odds. Watching him in the courtroom build the case with the facts he had combined with his compassion captivated the jury to return a phenomenal verdict. If you ever have any unfortunate harm done to you by no fault of your own and need justice I highly recommend Nick Rowley.

I had a T Bone accident that went to trial. On the day of trial Nick came armed and ready to lock horns with my insurance company. He is a dedicated and serious lawyer and other lawyers don't want to go against him. They never prevail. My insurance company offered to settle just prior to jury selection. Nick has a commanding presence. Other trial attorneys come to jury selection just to observe Nicks work, taking away with them great knowledge. Thank you Nick Rowley you are truly the best at what you do. Sincerely, Dominique

Nicholas Rowley is an outstanding lawyer! My wife suffered a traumatic brain injury as well as multiple orthopedic traumas roughly six years ago. At the time I knew absolutely nothing about a TBI and really didn’t fully understand what the future physical and mental issues were going to be for us. Fortunately I was put in touch with Nick. The very first time that I met Nick he gave me his personal cell number and never failed to get back to me whenever I contacted him no matter where he was in the world at the time. I am truly amazed by the knowledge and expertise that Nick holds in the area of brain injuries. His understanding of this is not just from a legal perspective but he also has an acute awareness of the medical challenges associated with them and what will be required in the future to be able to live as best one can with those challenges. Nick spent a lot of time educating me to help me understand the complexities of my wife’s brain injury. Many of the issues that she has related to her memory and executive functions are not overtly obvious. Nick put together a great team of medical experts to ensure that my wife received the best care possible and also to develop a life care plan for her that outlined in great detail exactly what she needed immediately and what she would need for the remainder of her life. The attention to detail that was put into every aspect of her life care plan made it extremely difficult for the opposing side to dispute our claim, which made our deposition and mediations go much smoother than we ever could have hoped. Nick was a true champion of our cause and very protective of my wife throughout the course of our case. He was as tenacious and ferocious as a pit bull when he needed to be. When the insurance company showed up at our deposition with a team of six lawyers Nick never allowed himself to be intimidated. If anything, it only strengthened his resolve to push harder and harder for our cause. Two years after our case was complete, I came down with an illness that was nearly fatal. My wife contacted Nick to let him know that I was not doing well. Nick got back to her immediately and offered her any help that he could. Nick has very strong relationships within the medical community and is well connected with many of the top medical professionals in the US. Nick wasted no time to contact doctors that he knows personally to find out who would be the best physician for my particular illness. This was not a situation that required legal expertise or would benefit Nick in any way. He simply did this because he cares. Nick is not just a great lawyer but a great person and someone that I am happy to call a friend.

Ben jumps to it for depos and client calls, etc - he's a great teammate and co-counsel and I highly recommend partnering with him if you need trial counsel for a state in which he's licensed.

My wife and I hired Mr. Ritner among other attorneys for a medical malpractice and breach of contract case. His commuication with us was awkard and he was not very responsive. He did not spend enough time with our case and his representation was poor. I was told that he accepts almost any malpractice case even weak, unethical or frivalous cases that may not warrant legal actions or his time and efforts. He travels a lot out of State and was not readily available for us. We got monetary sanctions from court and that pissed my wife for not submitting discovery in time. Even though he acknowledged his responsibility for that, yet we suffered reputational harm to our case due to imposition of those sanctions. Our case was strong and had a lot of value but needed more attention from him which he did not provide to us.

Mr. Ritner was hired by a big firm to handle my malpractice claim more than a year ago. I am very frustrated about his incompetency and lack of proper and adequate communication. His approach towards me with very unprofessional which made myself and my boyfriend very uncomfortable. He has poor insight and he did not communicate well enough so I ended up getting monetary sanctions from the court for non compliance with discovery process. He wasted so much time on my behalf for possible more monetary gain for himself as he works on contingency fee. I believe he could have negotiated settlement long time ago. Instead, he has made my life very difficult last year which was a disservice to me. This case dragged on with no successful outcome so far. I feel I am being coerced into trial with no guarantee for a better outcome. That makes my mind spin out of control. I will not give a positive feedback to his practice or to the large firm that referred him to handle my case.

Rod Ritner handled my wife's malpractice case. I had few concerns as I felt he was getting so close to her throughout the process which made me very tense. She talked a lot about him as all times they spend together for depositions and hearings in court. He asked her to go for unncessary exam and made her very nervous by signning declaration and papers in order to get the money. She has not gotten any money but he created so much tension between us so far and dragged me into unncessary deposition for me as well to come. He is very greedy and mostly care about the money without explaining much to her, as she could not understand everything. I looked him up today and found him suspended in State of Minnesota. I just don't feel he is a good lawyer and I hope she hired a different one close to us. I will report him.

For ongoing services, businesses might pay a monthly fee for a set number of hours or services.
  • Factors Affecting Cost:

More complex cases require more time and resources, increasing costs.
    • Lawyer's Experience:
Highly experienced lawyers may charge higher fees.
    • Geographic Location:
Legal fees can vary significantly by region or city.
    • Additional Expenses:
Court filing fees, expert witness fees, travel expenses, and administrative costs may be extra.
  • Estimating Total Costs:
Request a detailed fee agreement outlining all potential costs.
Discuss any additional expenses that may arise during the case.
  • Negotiating Fees:
Some lawyers may be willing to negotiate fees or offer payment plans, especially for clients with financial constraints.
  • Pro Bono Services:
For those who cannot afford legal services, some lawyers or legal aid organizations offer services at reduced rates or for free.
