Without the help of the entire Cooney, Corso & Moynihan Law Firm. I know I wouldn't be here spending time with my children. Mr. Corso took the bull by the horns and actively advocated for me in what was a horrific 5 year battle post divorce with my ex. He told behind me when he realized what was going on. He made no promises but he said he would do everything he could to resolve this matter. My ex's attorneys are snakes but Jeff rose above that and for that I'm forever grateful. In less than 2 weeks later I had phone calls with my kids and visits. I can't thank him enough and I will forever be grateful for what he accomplished in 5 short months what other lawyers couldn't do in 5 years. Mr. Corso took on an extremely difficult post divorce case and encountered issues that no one expected and few had ever seen. He worked tirelessly to make sure that the truth was told and presented it perfectly. He has stood by every one of my requests and guided me through the entire lengthy process. I always followed the path to stay away from attorneys. This is why, it was a tough decision for me to hire an attorney for a legal matter I had to pursue.
Contrary to what I thought about attorneys, it was an eye-opening experience and a pleasant surprise when I hired Gasperos to help me with a legal issue. I must say engaging with the Gasperos was one of the best thing which happened to me.
On one hand, Lisa is bright and energetic and on the other hand, she was extremely knowledgeable and took her time to explain and discuss each and every step with me. Her partner, Carmen worked long hours, took extra steps, and went out of his way to make sure that we are well prepared for the case.
If you hire the Gasperos, please note they do not differentiate between day or night, weekend or weekdays. They work hard to get the job done and they know how to do it perfectly. I would recommend the Gasperos in a heartbeat.

Patrick handled all the necessary contract efforts on our home, dealing with the buyers attorney, the home owners association, etc. Patrick kept everything on track for the closing, took care of all the last minute needs, and was able to attend the closing for us, took care of everything, paid everyone, and deposited the proceeds in our bank. Great experience start to finish - everything went great!

Attorney Waite followed through as promised. My car was repossessed for failing to stay current on car payments. Mr. Waite not only got my car back, but he was able to lower my monthly payments as my car depreciated over time. Mr. Waite is knowledgeable and kind. He asked me what I wanted to do and he did his best to make that happen. If you are in financial trouble, call him ASAP!

I have used Brad for both estate planning services and real estate closing services and could not be happier. His knowledge is exceptional and he places his clients interests' above his own, which is not always the case in my experience. Wish we'd met years ago as the most recent home purchase was my 13th and not all were handled with the same professionalism! Some attorneys want to placate all the interested parties for their own gain, but Brad has your back. He goes the extra mile, is honest and does what he says he is going to do. Rory sets the bar high, other lawyers can only try and live up his standards of law. He is a genuine good person. Its hard to find someone with qualities like his in any field, let alone the legal field.

I had a serious matter in DuPage and I immediately called Mr. Scott. He got back to me right away and told me he would handle it, which was a huge relief. He kept in touch with me in the days leading up to court about my matter, and outlined general strategies that he would use to help me fight my case.
Mr. Scott always kept me informed throughout the course of my case. On my last court date on the matter, he was able to negotiate an excellent deal with the State right before heading to trial. He told the State to wait while he explained the ramifications of the deal in detail so that I knew what I was accepting, and he always made it clear that it was my choice and he would do what I wanted.
Thanks to Mr. Scott's knowledge and expertise, I was able to go home that night and have dinner with my family, and soon I'll be able to put this whole thing behind me and have a clean record once more.
I'm so glad I retained his services. He fought on my behalf and did everything he could to get me the best outcome possible, which he did. I was very relieved as soon as I hired him, because I knew he was the best man for the job. Thank you for your hard work, Mr. Scott!

I am a retired judge, and was referred to this firm by a trusted financial adviser, to provide counsel on my mom's estate and to prepare and file state and federal estate tax returns, and to prepare a trust accounting. I also needed a real estate attorney to help with the sale of my mom's condo. I found all of these at Lifka & Lifka. I worked mostly with Dan Lifka on estate matters, and found him to be thoroughly professional, careful, thoughtful, and reliable in all that I asked him to do. Unexpectedly, there were several complications that required calm, balance, and perspective beyond what the norm might have required. In every way, Dan did a superb job, and so did Deb on the real estate part of the work. The firm charged a fair price for the work, and I appreciated that the hourly rate and time expended was reasonable, and not as large as it could have been in view of the size of the estate. This is a first class firm providing the same quality services of a large downtown law firm with a estate and trust department, but at a fraction of the cost. I recommend them without reservation.

If you're experiencing cash flow problems, it's important to note that Paul may terminate your case if you don't have sufficient funds. It's crucial to have a lawyer who is understanding, especially if you've used up your 401k, savings, and turned to your parents for financial support. In other words, it's best to avoid this money-focused lawyer if you don't have immediate funds. He manipulates by working on weekends and neglecting family time to pressure you into uncomfortable situations.
Although there were very few instances of miscommunication, Paul did not show empathy and instead threw temper tantrums like a type A adult. If you're looking for an understanding and empathetic person, Paul is anything but that. There were times when I proposed payment plans, but Paul always insisted that I owed him all the money immediately, despite knowing I didn't have it as I had already given him all the money from my accounts and credit.
After a hearing on August 30, 2024, Paul walked out on me, yelling and raising his voice in disbelief when I couldn't pay him the full invoice amount. I was still waiting to discuss a payment plan and keep him on to finish the case. That day, Paul led me to believe he would work it out and asked for a payment in good faith, and I provided him with $500 immediately after our conversation. However, on September 3rd, Paul filed for immediate withdrawal from my case. This behavior is unprofessional, and Paul is not mature enough to have a constructive conversation.

This lawyer is the worst lawyer I’ve ever had. He is worse than a typical public defender. He lost paperwork of mine and was very unprofessional and angry all the time. He would get mad just because I wanted to know details on the case. He was late to my court hearing and very disrespectful. He didn’t actually want to help me at all. Instead he just rushed my case and now I’m paying so much child support due to him not wanting to actually do his job. He never picked up the phone for me and when he did he would talk down to me for paying less than other ppl are paying him when I was literally paying what he offered so it wasn’t like I was being represented on a bargained price. I even would schedule 30 min calls to speak with him through my email and he would call me at the time that was scheduled but still rush me off the phone before the 30 minutes was up. At the time I didn’t even have a job so you would think this would be a easy case for him to get me a fair rate on child support but he still dropped the ball and did a half ass job getting me a fair rate.

He does cocaine and is OPEN about it. He LOVES to degrade people on Twitter. So unprofessional for someone who loves to gloat about their position. On multiple occasions, he displayed a lack of decorum that is unbecoming of someone in his position.
I believe that professionalism and respect are crucial in the legal profession, and unfortunately, beau is none.
