I went to Chas for Estate planning needs. He was great. He got back to me right away with every question I had and his explanations were clear. He's a good listener and brought up important issues I hadn't thought of about my particular situation. He completed the work quickly and he got every tiny detail right, even down to who will be my cat's new owner if I "predecease" her-- that had been a worry of mine. His price was very fair. I was referred to John by a co-worker, and after my initial consultation I knew he was the attorney for the job. John is a fantastic lawyer who is extremely knowledgeable, and communicated every step of the process to keep myself prepared for what was ahead. I felt that my problems were now his problems. He was able to get my kids out of the awful living situation they were in while living in another state and into my custody when the services in that state failed to ensure my kid’s safety. He was relentless when the other party thought they could weasel their way out of the situation. He is no nonsense and to the point, and you will truly believe he is out for your best interest in both the situation and financially. I am so thankful for John, and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an attorney to represent them.

I have entrusted John with the security and future of my Children and Family through three separate custody battles. I have also hired John for other area's of his practice and he has come through for me time and time again. When you are faced with situations that can be completely life changing and you are overwhelmed with the process, feel very helpless and it's such a great feeling to have someone who you can come to that will step right in front of you and take the fight head on. John is passionate about what he does, has an unsurpassed skill-set and knowledge of how to help you accomplish your goals. If you meet and explain to John what you are facing or needing he will tell you immediately if it is something within his area of practice and if he tells you he will go to work for you then you can relax knowing that you have just hired the big dog in the fight. One thing to consider when choosing an attorney is that if you go to someone else you may end up facing him on the other side and that wouldn't be good for you. If you approach John and you are not honest or are asking for something unreasonable or if you're trying to get him to bully someone he will simply tell you he can't work with you. John takes his work seriously, has a respect and reverence for the law and will work to get you the absolute best outcome he can. It's a great feeling to be able to walk out of his office and immediately have a buffer between you and whoever may be attacking you. In my life I try to avoid conflict and confrontation but John actually likes it. He will go straight to the source of the problem and turn the tables immediately. It may sound like an easy way out, but the fact is that I consider John somewhat of my "hired gun". Bottom line, you pay him money, he takes your problems and makes them his. I have several times had this experience with him and will return to him any time I find myself in need of his services.

My son found himself in a terrible situation that neither he nor I ever imagined he would be in. It was devastating, and we didn’t know the best way to proceed. A friend highly recommended John, and hiring him was the absolute right thing to do. He advised, counselled and supported us through the entire court process. What I, as a mother, really appreciated was that if I called John with a question or concern he always took my call. He was quite clear about his boundaries and client confidentiality, while being supportive. For a time I was a legal assistant, so i have a fairly good sense when it comes to telling the difference between a great, mediocre, and lousy attorney. Derek Larwick is one of the best I have come across. He'll evaluate your case and give you an honest answer as to whether or not it would be prudent to move forward. No BS, no "ambulance chaser" mentality, just a straightforward, knowledgeable dude. His staff is great as well-- very responsive and sweet. My feelings about him were validated the day I walked into his office and saw what looked like a florists' shop more than an attorney's office. I asked about the numerous vases of flowers and was told that they were all from happy clients. Need I say more?

Kent Anderson saved our house! After a significant drop in income my wife and I were having serious financial difficulties, bills were piling up unpaid, our credit cards were maxed and we were falling farther and farther behind. When the foreclosure notice came we didn’t know what we were going to do.
Kent Anderson was our saviour. He assessed our situation, gave us all the options and helped us to make an informed decision. But he didn’t stop there. He kept working for us over several years keeping our mortgage lender at bay, continuing to look for solutions when we thought it was hopeless, eventually getting our lender to modify our mortgage to a payment we could afford.

Clayton Tullos gives one exactly what is needed in the courtroom...an experienced litigator who is quick thinking and a powerful advocate. I write this review with the status of my case still pending, but I wouldn't change it regardless of the outcome. Clayton did a skilled job passionately advocating for my daughter and her rights as a person in a difficult custody case. Clayton was willing to work with me on what I could afford, and was efficient in selecting relevant evidence and resources for trial. Most importantly, Clayton cared as a human being and this was evident in his argument. Clayton isn't the best layer for everyone, but he is a skilled litigator, was honest through the process, and he cared, which is the most one can ask for of an attorney. Highest recommendation.

I've known of Jim Walsh since my High School days. He was a couple years ahead of me; I've always admired his demeanor and grit. You never think you'll need an attorney until you do. And I needed one a few years back. I was ticketed for a DUI that was not your usual DUI. I was eating dinner with an old flame who I knew for years. She worked as any ER nurse at a local hospital here. She was unhappy that I didn't want to take her back and resume our relationship. At the end of our meal, which included drinks (too many) she got up and went to the restroom. We payed the bill and went to the parking lot where she said she didn't want to come over to my house at that time. Got in my truck and pulled out on the main road. Looked ahead and wasn't shocked to see two cruisers no more than 100 yards down' the road. I knew immediately what had happened. She had called a police friend of hers from work turned me in to him. I drove by the cruisers (they were pointed away from the direction I was going) and they turned and started to follow me. No more than a mile down the road they illuminated and pulled me over. (I was so flustered I failed to signal a turn) Busted. I was incredibly upset about how this went down. A 50's year old man was now screwed. I called Jim and he met me. He helped fill out my initial paperwork and ordered my evidence for review. I was correct in my thinking I was set up. The police report confirmed this. Jim was incredible. He went with me to my court appearances and stood by me. The advice he gave me was spot-on. I wouldn't have made it through the process and might of even done some revenge type activities without him. He even called me nine months later and told me what to do to ensure I got my case dismissed ( after diversion and everything else). He truly cared for me. He was just what I needed. I can truly say that he was more than an attorney. A good, solid attorney (and friend) who payed attention to all the details and held me up through the entire process. I didn't expect this from a lawyer. But Jim is more than just a lawyer. His depth of experience ( he had worked for the same City that I was arrested in) was incredible. I can truly say I wouldn't have gotten through the process without him being right along with me. He's a good man.

Mr. Walsh and myself were involved in two auto accident cases. The first of the two accidents involved an Indochinese woman who was working in Corvallis where she was hit in a crosswalk as she crossed the street. The woman, a friend of mine, had extremely limited English skills. She ask me to assist her in the resolution of her situation. I selected Jim from the yellow pages for a consultation. Upon hearing the plight of this woman, who worked for minimum wage with no health or auto insurance and now hospitalize and unable to work. he drove to Corvallis with me to speak with this woman. He obtained the pertinent information and agreed to take the case for a significantly reduced fee. He worked diligently with myself to resolve the woman's claim. he was compassionate and caring as well as being a knowledgeable and dedicated attorney. The second incident, a head-on auto crash, involved myself. A car crossed the center medium and struck my car. I was not seriously injured, how ever I had a damaged knee, fractured ankle, a cracked rib as well as multiple cuts and bruises to my face, legs, and arms. Jim and his staff worked closely with me through the settlement process, keeping me informed as the claim progressed. Again, Jim demonstrated his knowledge of the law and his understanding of the claim process. As important as his excellent professional expertise, was his personal concern for me as an individual. I was not just a client. He always had time for me and my concerns. I can not express enough the manner in which Jim and his staff treated me. I highly recommend him as a lawyer and as caring compassionate human being. If need, would not hesitate in employing his services again.

I was rear ended by a driver while sitting on my motorcycle at a stop light . I sustained a herniated L4 and an impingement. Jim allowed and encouraged me to focus on my recovery, which, after all is the most important thing, while he and Nancy took care of managing the bills and the surgery related to the accident. Jim's counsel was invaluable to me, since I know next to nothing about the legal system. As we got closer to a settlement Jim worked with me to make sure that I was comfortable with the process and was clear on what should be expected. I truly felt like I had an advocate working with me at every step of the way. In the end, there were no surprises and I left the process feeling like we had done everything well and with integrity. There are too many good things to say about our experience working with Ida! For a very reasonable rate, she made our green card application process so much smoother and faster--we realized how many small errors we would have committed if we had done the process on our own, which would have made it take AT LEAST as twice as long to complete, as happened to friends of ours who started two years before us. Even though we were on the other side of the world, Ida was accommodating about scheduling times that worked well for us. I really can't recommend Kelsea enough. She remained professional through some pretty frustrating and stressful litigation with my ex. Most of all I always felt confident that she was advocating for my wants and needs. I am disabled, my husband left me, after 32 years, because he didn't want a disabled wife. I was a hot mess, when I came to Kelsea. She could have told me no, I had to switch to her, with only weeks to go. She took me on, and, because she's in an office with other attorneys, it's like you get all their advice. Kelsea asked others in her firm, more experienced, to make sure all our info was correct. She was fantastic, I was falling apart at the end, and, she hung in there with me, helped me make decisions, get it settled out of court. I was so scared of being sick and alone, no money to live, as I can't work. Kelsea made sure I got the settlement I needed, so I would be OK. I got served again by my ex last night, he wants to terminate my support, and, life insurance he has to keep, with myself as beneficiary. I cannot give this man enough praise in helping me through the most difficult time I have experienced.

Frank is the closest thing I can think of to my “ideal” attorney. I am involved in a case against a family member over the estate of my grandmother. Frank has taken an emotionally-charged, seemingly-complicated dysfunctional family dynamic and broken it down into easy-to-understand, core elements. I think his assessment of the situation will help opposing council (or a judge, if it comes to that) see the "holes" in their case and lead to a resolution in my favor.
He is clear-headed and always open to negotiation, but also willing to go to bat for me when needed. His legal knowledge is amazing. When opposing council makes unreasonable statements that make me want to get up and hurl obscenities, Frank quickly and calmly objects with some point of law that completely takes the wind out of their statement. And I have to admit, this is more satisfying than hurling obscenities.
When I first looked for an attorney in this case, I was aware that I was very emotional and could be taken advantage of. Initially I was guarded with Frank, but soon realized that although he was dedicated to this case, he was also willing to come away with less (for him and me), if it meant a faster resolution and less emotional toll for me (if that's what I wanted). He has helped me stand up for myself and fight for what I believe in and what I believe my grandmother wanted for me.

You can tell Rachel loves what she does and is more concerned with serving others and helping than pinching every penny! She made sure every minute with her counted and always kept track of timing as I was nervous about finances. She helped me win my mediation.
