About a year ago, my wife and I purchased our first home - a new construction condo. When it came time to choose a lawyer for the closing on our side, the builder pushed us towards a specific individual. This made us uneasy, so we did some research and instead chose Michael Khoury. This ended up being a fantastic decision. He went over and above even the highest expectations, combing through every word of the closing documents and having multiple calls to walk us through it. Upon realizing that there were a multitude of portions of the closing documents which were detrimental to our interests, Michael expertly negotiated with the builder to change the language of some of this parts and to completely remove others. In addition, when there was in issue with a portion of the property not meeting the agreed upon specifications, he delayed closing and also obtained a small amount of money for us from the builder as recompense once we realized the issue couldn't be fully corrected. To top it all off, when we had an issue finding care for our dog on the day of the closing, he let us bring her into the office with us! This all doesn't even mention his paralagel, Nancy, who was amazing to deal with - quick to respond to all of our inquiries, extremely nice, and amazingly knowledgeable. I can't recommend using Michael vehemently enough - he is a genuine, hard-working, and knowledgeable attorney who sincerely cares about his clients. If you need a lawyer in his areas of practice, you won't be able to find anyone better!

I am a business man dealing with the public for over fifteen years, and I can honestly that it took me some time within those years to figure out how to keep my customers happy. I can't say I have any experience working with this firm, but I had a problem having to do with a building lien which my attorney (who does not work for Madoff and Khoury LLP) couldn't handle. I needed another more experienced attorney's expertise. After speaking to a member of the staff at this company, they connected me to a gentleman named David Madoff. Mr Madoff, after speaking to me for three minutes asked me to call the attorney I was using before and have him call Madoff & Khoury so David can coach him on what to do. I am amazed and shocked that an attorney would take the time to do such a gracious thing. I believe that any "decent" business can give good service, but it takes a special business (or person representing a business) to shine or go above "decent", and that can only be done when something goes wrong in a transaction, or when there is an emergency. I called Madoff and Khoury because something went wrong with another attorney (out of Boston) which created an emergency situation involving a deadline court date (on a holiday weekend). Mr. Madoff took the time to help me when it wasn't even his problem. I can't be more honored and pleased to be able to witness and experience first hand, within five minutes time such high CHARACTER in any type of business. I'm so glad I made the call.

I am thankful for Attorney Kostas--I chose him because he was familiar with the court I was being tried in, knew the judges, and seems to be a kind soul. The day did not go as well as we hoped, but he maintained a level head, told me what reality really was, and helped us show the judge that I was sorry. In the end, I plead guilty, but I remain a free man; had I been there alone and without counsel--or with a different style of attorney--it likely would not have gone as well.

Meghan was a wonderful support and calming, steady presence during a very long and tumultuous divorce. Even when the other side would try to use threats or emotional scare tactics she stayed strong and professional, relying on facts and other cases to support our side. Knowing how many cases a lawyer can be working on at once I always appreciated how quickly she got back to me and followed through with everything. I would highly recommend Meghan to anyone that is looking for a competent and intelligent lawyer to have their back.

I sought assistance from Meghan Howard during a very stressful Landlord Tenant situation, one you would think would never occur when you are a good tenant and always paid your rent on time. Having never been through any sort of legal battle before, I was very stressed and scared. I consulted with Meghan and immediately she made us feel like we were in good hands. We were able to keep moving forward with our lives as she handled the difficulties of dealing with this landlord. She is prompt, courteous, professional, well educated, and I would highly advise keeping her for any needs that may arise that she specializes in! We would not hesitate to use her again, if the need ever arose!

A few words of advice: don't let Meghan's grace and warmth distract you from the fact that she delivers. She worked with my roommates and myself this past summer settling a dispute with our landlord, and despite the fact that we, the clients, had a tough time keeping a level head throughout the process (our living situation was quite literally on the line). Stakes were high, but Meghan never even seemed phased. Not in the face of our long, mutable lists of goals; not in the face of sudden panicked emails filled with questions; nothing we or our opposition did prevented her from taking all the time we needed to understand our situation and what the next best step would be. She honestly was like a guide and advocate through the whole process. I'm greatful we were able to work with her.

Ms,Ryan-Wise grossly mishandled my divorce case, She used language which allowed my dead-beat,abusive ex-husband of 24 years to walk away after several contempt charges. Due to me never receiving my fair settlement, along with dealing with a combat veteran child who suffers severely from PTSD, I've been battling severe depression. I hired another attorney whose hands are tied to help further because of the legal language used by this attorney. Because of the extreme stress, my health has taken a toll, i was forced to leave a job if 22 years because if panic attacks, I have paid out well over 20,000.00 legal fees. This attorney has ruined me. She lost important paperwork and would not help me to locate it. She's been paid in full over &13,000.00 and has told me she can't help me. Lawyers like her give all lawyers a bad name. Save yourself.

How Much Does a Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a lawyer varies widely based on several factors:

Lawyers may charge anywhere from $150 to $500 or more per hour, depending on experience and location.

Highly experienced lawyers may charge higher fees.
    • Geographic Location:
Legal fees can vary significantly by region or city.
    • Additional Expenses:
