I've dealt with some health issues which can limit my ability to work full time and she was able to use those facts to ensure I was still able to pay my bills and take care of my child even with those setbacks. She was there to make sure I'd keep my emotions in check. She was always the adult in the room. I appreciated that because it was the hardest thing I've had to go through. Having someone fight for you when you're feeling vulnerable was really helpful.

Put so much work and time to get my ex husband to cooperate, because he was really trying to drag our divorce as much as he could .
Kathleen was my attorney but put so much effort and patience into making sure my ex husband filled out and signed all paperwork.
Communication was very well, great mediation skills and cost was affordable and reasonable , not to mention determined to get the process done in a timely manner .

In June of 2020, I was entering a grocery store and slipped in a puddle of water on the floor and broke my ankle. I was on vacation from California and did not know any Attorneys. A friend suggested George MacKoul in Hyannis. George had practiced in California and was very knowledgeable in both California and Massachusetts law.
George really helped me with ideas to assist him in preparing my case. One suggestion was keeping a daily diary. The case took 2 years to close. George negotiated a very good settlement. He and his Assistant, Diane, made our long-distance communication and document filing seamless.

I hired George to represent me in a dispute I had with a boat yard. The boatyard failed to properly winterize my boat causing damage to the engines, and the cabin. The boatyards insurance company tried to offer me a small amount of money, but once I had George on the case things changed rapidly. I ended up getting the compensation I was asking for from the insurance company, and they had to dispose of the boat themselves. I can't say enough about George and how he efficiently worked through this dispute for me. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need.

Where do I begin I met Eric when I was 18 when I had a really bad motorcycle accident (l’m 24)now he was recommended from a friend I wasn’t supposed to get anything from that accident not only did I get paid for my bike. Boyd & Boyd, Centerville, MA, are experts in elder law. We went to one of their free seminars that was advertised in a mailing. We liked what we saw, and there was no pressure. we learned that Probate will cost our heirs 3-5% of our estates. We also learned that only a trust, not a will, avoids probate. Even if a Trust only saved our heirs 3-5% of our estate (although it can do much more), it would be a no-brainer. That alone would far far exceed the cost.
So we worked with Keats Boyd to set up a comprehensive estate plan- Trust, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, Living Wills, Homestead protection, etc. Some of the things that especially impressed us were: 1. Working with Keats-it was very easy-he's likable, friendly, down to earth, gentle, patient-
a quality person. 2. Services and fees were clearly explained ahead- no surprises or misunderstandings.
3. Permission to call with questions without being "on the clock" for extra charges. 4. Yearly updates of documents, and three year reviews, at no extra charge. 5. Should anything happen to us, Boyd & Boyd has everything, knows everything, and will walk family members through what needs to be done.

I recently wrapped up my case with Attorney Weigand. Two years ago I was in an auto accident. This happened while I was working. As you can imagine: I was not only devastated by being out of work and on workers comp; but, I was also seriously injured. I ended up needing a surgical procedure on my neck. Blair, not only, took care of the accident with my car; he also handled the workers comp part, as well. He is an attorney that truly cares about his clients welfare and more importantly than that; their well-being. I don't believe I ever went into his office for an appointment that he didn't inquire about my neck and my health status. He truly cares and he is super knowledgeable when it comes to handling these "NASTY" insurance companies. Blair did an awesome job! I was in an auto accident and suffered a mild back injury. He explained everything to me so I could understand the process and all my options. Since I wasn't completely out of commission and pretty much able to get around I wasn't expecting to get much knowing how insurance companies don't want to pay out. I will say you need to be patient and let things take their course but it will be worth it. At our last meeting he showed me a document of the final outcome. At first I thought there must have been a misprint on the line that showed the amount that I was getting. However, Blair assured me the figure was in fact correct. Let’s just say it was literally three times what I was expecting. Blair knows what he's doing and hit the ball out of the park!
I highly recommend him and if I ever need a legal resource again I know where I'm going.

I contacted attorney Blair Weigand in 2014 after I was badly burned from a tanning bed incident. I had bad burns on the right side of my face and body. It was absolutely miserable. He immediately met with me and discussed all avenues. He had me set up with a dermatologist and kept in contact with me to see how I healed. After going to court a few times on my own, I quickly realized that the court system does not care about fathers rights, its all about paying child support, and it doesnt matter if I ever see or have a relationship with my children. Thats when I hired Mr. Carter. From the moment my wife and I met him, we knew he was the right choice. If you are a good father who takes care of your children, but the mother brainwashes your child/ children and keep them away from you, and only cares about the money, or if you feel like the child support you are paying is too much based on your income, please talk to this lawyer. Too many fathers give up on their children because they feel like there is no hope. Too many mothers destroy their childrens lives because they treat their children like a pawn. Fathers have just as much rights as mothers, but sometimes you need a good caring lawyer that knows the law to help you. Fathers please dont give up on your children, there is hope.....
