Brett was fantastic through the entire process of my divorce. He worked with me to keep fees reasonable. Valerie jumped in to help me with my divorce after I previous attorney did not do the job correctly. She corrected many things and was extremely professional, kind and very easy to work with. When she said she would call she did. If she was late she had someone call to tell me. When I spoke with her she was patient and never rushed me. She is smart as a whip and knows everything there is to know about divorce. She also knows how to explain it to you so you understand the legal language. She is also extremely detailed and does not leave out anything.

I will keep this as brief as possible. My injuries were so devastating and life changing that I wanted nothing more than to forget about them. This "forgetting" included attempting to ignore any and all aspects of my case. To be honest, I would have quit my case just to be left alone and to be able to move on with my life. It didn't help that, in typical fashion, the defense had done everything in their power for years to blame the accident on me. After years of this and refusing to settle, the case finally went to trial in early 2013. If I remember correctly, it took a couple days of jury selection and on a Thursday or Friday Sean made his opening arguments and began examining expert witnesses. Long story short, when the weekend was over and we came back to court on Monday, the defense was ready to settle! It took a couple days of Sean putting witnesses on the stand for the defense to come to their senses. My life has changed dramatically since then...and for the better this time. To reiterate, I wanted nothing to do with this case for years and IT WAS MY CASE! Sean worked tirelessly for me and my life and I was THE most difficult client to work for. He never quit even when I wanted to. To this day I don not believe I would have won my case with anyone else fighting for me. These days I consider Sean one of my very good friends and I am endlessly thankful for his support.

I was referred to Robert by another attorney (whom I had found via a referral service at work) when my estate planning needs were deemed too complex for the first attorney to handle. Robert took my telephone call (personally) on my first contact attempt, then set up a no-charge consultation for my wife and me the very next day!
Our initial appointment was highly informative, and we were able to use the feedback Robert provided (for free at that point) to make immediate changes to our portfolio beneficiaries, etc., and thereby achieve more than half of our stated objectives. We were so appreciative that we, of course, scheduled follow-up 'on-the-clock' appointments to further refine our plan. Subsequent meetings solidified our approach, and when concluded, we had a new trust, two new wills, updated POA's, and a feeling of confidence in our overall future plan.
What I found so satisfying was that Robert was able to condense the actual documentation we required to a minimal number of changed or updated pages with carefully crafted amendments where applicable, or well-written new documents with specific, clear, and concise 'non-rambling' provisions.
Mark Twain once quipped, "I wanted to write you a short note, but I didn't have time, so I wrote you this long letter". Robert has mastered the skill of the 'short but effective' vs. the 'long and rambling' and Twain would be proud!
I could not have been more satisfied with our engagement, including with the very reasonable final fee. I highly recommend Robert Kolasa for anyone who needs an estate plan review, update, or commencement.

Bridget Walsh Hutchen has represented my family and me several times, always with a positive outcome. She evidences skill, empathy, knowledge, and perseverance. I was cited for speeding in a school zone, an offense that could have resulted in the loss of my license for six months. Bridget was effective in getting my offense reduced to just speeding so that I could receive court supervision. She seemed to be well known to court officials who treated her with great respect. On another occasion Bridget represented my family after painters contaminated our home with lead dust forcing us to vacate our home for two months and incur huge cleaning expenses. She helped us to deal with the painters' insurance company who initially seemed sympathetic. When they started to ignore us, she kept at them. Finally, she helped us decide when it was time to file suit. They paid us the thousands we deserved immediately. Sara Roberts provided outstanding work during my divorce filing. From the initial phone conversation and meeting, all the way through the actual court appearance and beyond, Sara was extremely organized, professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. I hired Daniel to assist me with purchasing a home based on positive reviews I had read. However, after working with him, I found those reviews to be inaccurate. Initially, he was responsive and communicative in the weeks leading up to the scheduled closing. But once a closing date was set, his responsiveness dropped significantly. My calls went to voicemail, and my messages often weren't answered until the following day.
For instance, when I called him on Friday to confirm our closing scheduled for Tuesday at 9 AM, he said it wouldn't happen because he hadn't received the necessary documents, despite everything being approved. When I contacted him again on Monday, he informed me that Tuesday was no longer an option. As I tried to discuss the situation, he became irritated with my questions, even threatening to cancel everything just one day before closing. The closing was eventually rescheduled for two days later, and Daniel initially said he would meet me there, but the next day, he informed me that he wouldn't be attending in person and would handle it remotely instead.
